Over the past twenty-four hours, police officers across the entire territory of the country arrested fifteen drivers for reckless driving. Of these, twelve were operating a vehicle without a driver's license, two had an active ban, and one was under the influence of alcohol. Four drivers in Skopje, two in Kumanovo, and one driver each in Tetovo, Gostivar, Veles, Debar, and Bitola were driving without a driver's license, while one driver was operating a vehicle without a license and under the influence of alcohol.
One driver in Skopje and one in Negotino were driving with an active ban, and one driver in Strumica was operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol. After the cases are fully documented, appropriate criminal charges will be filed.
We urge all participants in traffic to respect traffic rules and regulations, not to drive without a valid driver's license, or if they have been issued a ban on driving, or if they are under the influence of alcohol, and together we can contribute to safer traffic.
