On 16 April 2026 at 16:00 in Bitola, police officers from the Bitola Sector of Internal Affairs deprived G.B. (43) from Bitola of his liberty after he physically assaulted his mother.
On 16 April 2026 at around 11:00 in the Kumanovo Sector of Internal Affairs, a 65-year-old woman from Kumanovo reported that her son I.A. (35) had been behaving aggressively and psychologically abusing her over a longer period of time.
On 16 April 2026 at 10:40 in the Struga Police Department, a 56-year-old woman from the Struga area reported that her partner had been physically and psychologically abusing her for a longer period, and on that day forced her out of the home and took her house keys.
On 16 April 2026 at 19:30 in the Skopje Sector of Internal Affairs, a 59-year-old woman reported that around 13:00 in the Centar area, her former husband Lj.C. (65) had made threats against her and their son.
On 17 April 2026 at 00:15 in the Skopje Sector of Internal Affairs, a 48-year-old woman reported that on 15 April 2026, her former partner D.N. (51) had made telephone threats against her, her children, and her former partner.
Measures are being taken to clarify the cases, and after they are fully documented, appropriate charges will be filed against the perpetrators.
