Over the past 24 hours, police officers across the entire territory of the state arrested 10 drivers for reckless driving, five of whom were driving without a driver's license (two minors), four under the influence of alcohol, and one in the wrong direction.
Two drivers in Tetovo (one minor) and one each in Negotino, Bitola, and Prilep (minor) were operating a vehicle without a driver's license. One driver each in Skopje, Kavadarci, Ohrid, and Kicevo was driving under the influence of alcohol. Meanwhile, one driver in Bitola was operating a vehicle in the wrong direction. After fully documenting the cases, appropriate criminal charges will be filed.
We urge all participants in traffic to respect traffic rules and regulations, not to drive without a valid driver's license or if they have been issued a driving ban, or if they are under the influence of alcohol, and together we can contribute to safer traffic.
