On January 21, 2026, at 8:00 PM in Skopje, in the Kisela Voda area, police officers from the Violent Crime Unit of the Skopje Police Department detained T.S. (57) from Idrizovo, Skopje. According to reports, he had previously threatened a 26-year-old man from Skopje, the former partner of his daughter, demanding repayment of an amount he allegedly provided for rent, car repairs, and other expenses while all three lived together in a rented apartment in the Karposh neighborhood.
Specifically, after the incident was reported and the relevant public prosecutor was notified, a record was taken for the acceptance of a report for the criminal offense of "extortion" under Article 258 of the Criminal Code, and yesterday (January 21) in a hospitality establishment in Skopje, T.S. was arrested after having previously received 200 euros from the complainant, which had been processed for forensic evidence.
