On 06.01.2026 at around 01:50, the SIA Skopje was notified that in the area between the “Hani i Elezit” border crossing and the “Dolno Blace” border crossing, a 60-year-old K.S. from the Republic of Kosovo, while driving a passenger vehicle “Golf” with Kosovo license plates, struck pedestrian S.K. (25) from Skopje.
S.K. was transported to the “Mother Teresa” Clinical Complex in Skopje, where serious bodily injuries were diagnosed. By order of a public prosecutor, the driver K.S. was deprived of liberty and detained at the Gazi Baba Police Station for further proceedings.
An on-site investigation was conducted by an investigative team from the SIA Skopje.
