The driver who hit a minor on "Pero Nakov" street in Skopje and fled the scene has been deprived of his freedom

On October 30, 2025, around 7:30 PM, following operational measures, police officers from the Intervention Police Unit of the Skopje Police Department detained B.R. (59) from Skopje. He had, on October 28, 2025, around 8:30 PM, on "Pera Nakov" Street in Skopje, struck an 11-year-old girl from Skopje with his passenger vehicle, a Fiat Seicento, after which he fled the scene.The girl sustained serious bodily injuries, which were confirmed at the "Mother Teresa" Clinical Center.

Immediately after receiving the report, appropriate measures and actions were taken, and both the driver and the vehicle were located. B.R. was detained at the police station by order of the public prosecutor, and after the case is documented, a corresponding criminal charge will be filed.
