Today (February 1, 2026), police officers from the Skopje Police Department detained M.M. (50) from Skopje. Around 4:15 PM, a traffic accident was reported to the Skopje Police Department on Boulevard "Goce Delchev" in Skopje.The accident involved a passenger vehicle "Seat Ibiza" with Skopje license plates, driven by M.M., a passenger vehicle "Toyota" with Skopje license plates, driven by A.G. (25), and a passenger vehicle "Mercedes" with Skopje license plates, driven by M.V. (32), with A.G. and her passenger L.G. sustaining injuries. After taking necessary measures, it was determined that M.M. was operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol, with a blood alcohol concentration of 2.32 per mille.
A public prosecutor has been informed, M.M. has been detained, and following the documentation of the case, a criminal charge will be filed under Article 297-a of the Criminal Code for "reckless driving of a motor vehicle."
