On February 28, 2026, at 9:10 PM on the Kumanovo-Veles highway, near the Aerodrom interchange in Skopje, police officers from the Mobile Traffic Safety Unit of the Traffic Department arrested T.A. (54) from Veles. Specifically, during a traffic control, the police officers stopped a passenger vehicle, a "Lancia" with Veles license plates, which was being driven by T.A. After taking necessary measures and conducting a breathalyzer test, it was determined that the driver was under the influence of alcohol, with a blood alcohol level of 1.99, and that he had an active driving ban. The individual was detained by the police officers, and after documenting the case, an appropriate criminal charge will be filed.
