On 12.01.2026 at 13:30, at the Deve Bair Border Crossing point, upon entry into the country, police officers arrested N.I.L. (47) from the Republic of Bulgaria. During border checks and a vehicle inspection carried out in cooperation with customs officers on a passenger vehicle “Honda Jazz” with Bulgarian registration plates, which he was driving, a metal brass knuckle and a banner with offensive content were found and seized.
The Basic Court in Kriva Palanka imposed a monetary fine and the sanction “expulsion of a foreigner from the country” for a duration of one year.
On 13.01.2026 at 02:10, N.I.L. was escorted to the Deve Bair Border Crossing and handed over to the Bulgarian border police authorities.
