On 16 August 2026 at 3:40 p.m., police officers from the Bitola Internal Affairs Sector (SVR Bitola) detained B.S. (67) from Bitola. He is suspected of having caused a fire at around 12:35 p.m. on 4 Noemvri Street in Bitola, which affected dry grass and wooden pallets at his former storage facility.
The fire was extinguished by a team from the Bitola Territorial Firefighting Unit, and no persons were injured. An inspection was carried out by a team from SVR Bitola, and following the complete documentation of the case, an appropriate criminal report will be filed against him.
