On 23 October 2026, at 14:20, at a place known as “Kolivadi” in the area of the village of Žitoše, Prilep area, police officers from the Ropotovo Police Office arrested M.Џ. (38), a citizen of the Republic of Albania. He was caught starting a fire in dry grass in an open area. The fire was extinguished by a team from the Prilep Territorial Firefighting Unit, and a public prosecutor was notified of the incident.
The person was handed over to the Prilep Police Department, and following the full documentation of the case, charges will be filed against him under Article 288 of the Criminal Code – “Causing General Danger.”
