The Negotino Police Department filed criminal charges with the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office in Kavadarci against N.S. (59) and R.S. (34), both from Kavadarci, on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of “usury” under Article 260 of the Criminal Code.
According to the report, in the period from June 2023 to November 2025, they lent money to a person from Negotino based on written and verbal agreements, while securing for themselves a disproportionate financial gain totaling 167,000 denars. The injured party submitted evidence in support of the claims.
Pursuant to an order issued by the Basic Court of Kavadarci, a search was conducted of their home and auxiliary premises, during which mobile phones were found and seized, and notebooks with notes were confiscated from N.S. Following this, both persons were deprived of their liberty.
