During the past 24 hours across the entire territory of the country, police officers from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of North Macedonia deprived seven drivers of liberty for reckless driving. Five of them were driving without a valid driver’s license, while two were driving despite having active driving bans.
One driver in Macedonski Brod and two drivers each in Skopje and Prilep were operating vehicles without a driver’s license. One of the drivers in Prilep was also under the influence of alcohol. Additionally, one driver each in Skopje and Kichevo were operating vehicles despite active driving bans.
After the cases are fully documented, appropriate criminal charges will be filed.
We appeal to all traffic participants to respect traffic rules and regulations, not to operate vehicles without having passed the driving test, while subject to a driving ban, or under the influence of alcohol, and together contribute to safer traffic for everyone.
