On April 8, 2026, police officers from the Kisela Voda, Gjorce Petrov, and Centar–Bit Pazar operational units within the Skopje Police Department arrested two individuals who were wanted under orders from the Basic Criminal Court Skopje to serve prison sentences.
N.J. (44) from Skopje was wanted to serve a prison sentence of three years and six months for the criminal offense of “attempted murder,” punishable under Article 123 paragraph 1 in connection with Article 19 of the Criminal Code. Following the arrest, the individual was taken to the Chair Police Station for further proceedings.
G.I. (62) from Skopje was wanted to serve a three-year prison sentence for the criminal offense of “destruction of election materials,” punishable under Article 164 paragraph 2 in connection with Article 22 of the Criminal Code. The individual was taken to the Bit Pazar Police Station for further proceedings.
