Regarding the criminal offense of “causing public danger”, committed on 15 June 2026, when two diplomatic vehicles owned by the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Skopje were set on fire, the Skopje Internal Affairs Sector (SVR Skopje) has fully solved the case.
Yesterday (16 June 2026), the Department for Criminal Affairs – Centar and Bit Pazar filed a criminal complaint under an expedited procedure against I.D.S. (44), from Skopje, on grounds of reasonable suspicion that he committed the aforementioned criminal offense.
During the investigation, material evidence was secured, including surveillance camera footage from several locations, as well as the clothing the suspect was wearing at the time the offense was committed. At a police station, the suspect confessed to committing the criminal act.
