Today (23.06.2026), the Director of the Public Security Bureau, Aleksandar Janev, paid working visits to Strumica, the Novo Selo Police Department, and the Novo Selo Border Crossing, where he familiarized himself with the conditions and challenges faced by police officers in the field.
During the meetings, discussions focused on the security situation, the maintenance of public order and peace, as well as the prevention of cross-border crime. Special emphasis was placed on improving working conditions, technical equipment, and strengthening coordination with the competent services and neighboring countries.
It was highlighted that the Novo Selo Border Crossing is an important point for the movement of passengers and goods, while ensuring an efficient, professional, and secure service for citizens remains a priority.
