Across the entire territory of the state yesterday, police officers arrested 13 drivers, nine of whom were for driving without a license, three for driving under the influence of alcohol, and one for driving despite having an active ban. Two drivers in Prilep and one in Gevgelija were operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, while one driver in Kichevo was driving despite having a ban. Meanwhile, one driver each in Gostivar, Veles, Kochani, Prilep, Resen, Bitola, Tetovo, Skopje, and Sveti Nikole was driving without a driver's license. The drivers in Skopje and Tetovo are minors. After fully documenting the cases, appropriate criminal charges will be filed.
We urge all participants in traffic to respect traffic rules and regulations, not to operate a vehicle without having passed the driving test, or if they have been issued a ban on driving, or if they are under the influence of alcohol, and together, let us contribute to safer traffic.
