The Ohrid Sector of Internal Affairs filed a criminal complaint against F. Gj. (58) from Resen on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of “negligent performance of duty.”
During 2026, the reported person, in her capacity as acting director of the Public Institution – National Park “Galicica” – Ohrid, by failing to exercise proper supervision, allowed the execution of activities and concluded a cooperation agreement with a private company from Ohrid for the graveling (base preparation) of a cadastral plot for which there was no urban planning documentation nor an approved infrastructure project. The plot was located within a 50-meter protected zone, an area for which the Municipality of Ohrid had imposed a temporary moratorium on any construction activities, in accordance with the management plan for the World Natural and Cultural Heritage of the Ohrid region.
