On 11 July 2026 at 12:30 p.m., police officers from the Veles Sector of Internal Affairs arrested S.S. (32), M.H. (22), and B.J. (19), all from Skopje.
Earlier, a 39-year-old woman from Veles reported that she had noticed two men leaving the retail store where she worked carrying a large quantity of merchandise. When she approached them, they fled, got into a Volkswagen Golf with Skopje registration plates, and drove away. The employee then discovered that several items had been stolen from the store.
Shortly afterwards, following оперативе measures, police officers from the Veles Sector of Internal Affairs located and stopped the Volkswagen Golf, driven by S.S., with M.H. and B.J. travelling as passengers. During a search of the vehicle, the stolen items were found, seized, and returned to their owner.
The three suspects were taken to a police station, a public prosecutor was notified, and appropriate charges will be filed against them after the case has been fully documented.
