On November 1, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM, throughout the entire country, the Traffic Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs conducted a targeted enforcement operation aimed at identifying and sanctioning drivers who exceed the speed limit.
During the operation, a total of 434 violations were recorded, of which 192 pertained to drivers who exceeded the permitted speed in populated areas, while 242 violations were noted outside populated areas.
Within the scope of the enforcement, one case of the criminal offense "reckless operation of a motor vehicle" was documented, in accordance with Article 297-a of the Criminal Code.
Additionally, 103 other types of violations were identified.
Appropriate measures were taken for all recorded violations in accordance with legal regulations.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs continues to carry out traffic enforcement operations and urges all road users to demonstrate responsibility and caution, to respect speed limits and traffic rules and regulations.
