During the past 24 hours, across the entire territory of the country, police officers deprived of liberty 10 drivers for reckless driving. Of these, four were driving without a valid driver’s license and four were driving under the influence of alcohol, one was driving in the opposite direction, and one was driving despite having an active driving ban.
Two individuals in Tetovo were driving without a driver’s license, while one each was recorded in Kratovo and Kochani. One driver each in Kumanovo, Sveti Nikole, Prilep, and Gevgelija was found driving under the influence of alcohol. Additionally, one driver in Kumanovo was operating a moped in the opposite direction, and one in Skopje was driving despite having an active ban.
After full documentation of the cases, appropriate criminal charges will be filed.
We appeal to all traffic participants to respect traffic rules and regulations, not to operate vehicles without a valid driver’s license, while under a driving ban, or under the influence of alcohol, and together contribute to safer traffic.
