During the day yesterday (13 August 2026), from 17:00 to 22:00, the Traffic Affairs Sector within the Ministry of Interior conducted an action control across the entire country aimed at sanctioning traffic violations committed by riders of light electric vehicles.
A total of 72 riders were sanctioned, including 11 in the area of the Tetovo SVR, 11 in the area of the Bitola SVR, eight in the area of the Veles SVR, and seven in the area of the Kumanovo SVR. The Mobile Road Traffic Safety Unit sanctioned 20 riders of light electric vehicles.
During the control, 260 other types of traffic violations were also sanctioned.
Traffic controls will continue in the coming days. The Ministry of Interior appeals to all road users to respect traffic rules and regulations and, through responsible behavior, to jointly contribute to safer roads.
