From November 1, 2025, to November 16, 2025, as a result of regular traffic checks conducted by police officers from all sectors of internal affairs on the roads across the country, out of a total of 10,210 issued payment orders, 2,983 violations pertained to drivers who did not adhere to the prescribed speed limits.
Arrested for reckless driving under Article 297-a of the Criminal Code were 55 individuals, of whom 37 were for driving under the influence of alcohol, one for driving in the wrong direction, 11 for speeding in populated areas, and six for exceeding the speed limit outside populated areas.
Furthermore, according to the statistical overview of police activities, during the month of November to date, 2,717 violations for improper parking have been recorded, 1,039 measures have been imposed on drivers operating vehicles without a driver's license, as well as 300 penalties for driving under the influence of alcohol.
On the other hand, in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Road Traffic Safety, 42 motorcycle riders were sanctioned for not wearing helmets, and 282 pedestrians and four electric scooter riders were also penalized. Additionally, 546 road users were sanctioned for not using seat belts. According to the Vehicle Law, 252 vehicles were removed from traffic for being unregistered, and 55 for technical malfunctions. Sanctions were also imposed on 52 drivers for failing to meet the prescribed conditions regarding window tinting (films).
