On 09.05.2026 at 12:50, it was reported to the Скопје Police Department that at the intersection of “Makedonsko-kosovska brigada” Street and “August Cezarec” Street in Skopje, a “Volkswagen Golf” passenger vehicle with Skopje registration plates, driven by D.I. (51) from Skopje, struck two pedestrians – 57-year-old F.S. and A.T. (27), both from Skopje. In the accident, F.S. sustained serious bodily injuries, while A.T. sustained bodily injuries, confirmed at the Emergency Center within the “Mother Teresa” Clinic Complex in Skopje. An inspection was carried out by an investigation team from the Скопје Police Department.
On 09.05.2026 at 14:45, it was reported to the Скопје Police Department that on “Krste Misirkov” Boulevard in Skopje, an electric scooter struck a pedestrian – 61-year-old Lj.M. from Skopje, after which the scooter rider left the scene. In the accident, Lj.M. sustained serious bodily injuries confirmed at the City General Hospital “8 Septemvri” in Skopje. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.

Around 23:00 in a hospitality facility in the village of Staro Nagoričane, he physically assaulted N.D. (29) from the village of Dolno Kojnare, Kumanovo region. On 09.05.2026 at 15:30 in Veles, police officers from the Велес Police Department detained Gj.K. (43) from Veles because marijuana was found and seized during a search of his person. Through undertaken measures and checks, it was established that he had been serving a prison sentence of five years and 10 months at the Idrizovo Correctional Facility and at the time was using weekend leave. Gj.K. was returned to the institution to continue serving his sentence, a public prosecutor was informed, and after documentation of the event an appropriate report will be filed against him.
