On 27/28 March 2026, at several locations in Skopje, police officers from SVR Skopje deprived D.T. (48) and R.D. (22), both from Skopje, of their liberty after white powdery substance and marijuana were found and seized from them. After full documentation of the cases, appropriate charges will be filed.
The External Office for Criminal Affairs Kriva Palanka filed criminal charges against G.Gj. (58) and a 17-year-old, both from Kriva Palanka, on suspicion of committing two criminal offenses of “obstructing an official in the performance of official duties.” On 04 March 2026, in two separate incidents in the Baglak neighborhood and the village of Koshari, the suspects used force and threats to prevent officials from the Food and Veterinary Agency Skopje from carrying out activities related to the seizure, loading, and transport of livestock.
The Kavadarci Police Department filed criminal charges against B.K. (45) from Kavadarci on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of “unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, and precursors.” On 02 July 2025, a search of his home resulted in the discovery and seizure of marijuana and pots with cannabis roots.
On 27 March 2026 at 19:05, at the Blato Border Crossing (entry into the country), police officers arrested C.A. (33) from the Republic of Albania after checks confirmed an active international arrest warrant issued by Interpol Belgium. The person was handed over to the Debar Police Station for further proceedings.
SVR Strumica filed criminal charges against M.Sh. (25) from the village of Bansko for “unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs,” and against I.K. (26) from the village of Borievo, Municipality of Bosilovo, for “enabling the use of narcotic drugs” and “reckless driving.” The first suspect sold marijuana to the second, who later consumed it with another person and subsequently drove a passenger vehicle under its influence.
SVR Skopje filed criminal charges against S.D. (40) from Skopje for “endangering safety,” “neglect and abuse of a minor,” and “unauthorized possession and trafficking of weapons.” On 07 March 2026, he threatened his brother, and during a police search, two pistols and 39 rounds of ammunition were found and seized.
The Kochani Police Department filed charges against H.N. (24) and S.A. (23), both from Kochani, for “unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs.” On 17 April 2025, the first suspect was caught selling marijuana to the second, after which searches uncovered additional drugs.
On 27 March 2026, police officers from SVR Kumanovo detained a 15-year-old from Kumanovo suspected of thefts from a passenger vehicle and a business facility. After full documentation, appropriate charges will follow.
On 27 March 2026 at 22:40, at a gas station in Shtip, police officers arrested V.S.D. (21) from Shtip and her passenger V.M. (23) after marijuana was found in a BMW vehicle she was driving. Charges will follow upon completion of the case.
On 27 March 2026 at 15:00, police in Veles arrested B.Z. (30) from Veles on suspicion of forcibly entering a home and stealing a television. The stolen item was recovered and returned to the owner. The suspect was detained and will face charges.
On 28 March 2026 at 07:25, it was reported that a robbery occurred at a betting shop in the Karposh area of Skopje, where an individual threatened an employee and took money. Measures are being taken to solve the case.
On 28 March 2026, in front of a nightclub in Karposh, police arrested E.A. (30) from the village of Gorna Bela Crkva and H.D.E. (34) from Turkey for disturbing public order and physically assaulting police officers. Charges will follow.
On 27 March 2026 at 16:05, a 26-year-old from Volkovo reported being physically attacked with a sharp object over a parking dispute in Kisela Voda. Measures are underway to identify the attacker.
On 27 March 2026 at 13:00, a 20-year-old woman from Kumanovo reported that she was robbed of personal jewelry by force at a bus stop in Gazi Baba. Police are taking measures to resolve the case.
On 27 March 2026, Idrizovo Prison reported that marijuana was found on an inmate during a search. Appropriate action will follow.
SVR Skopje filed charges against N.A. (28) for drug-related offenses after marijuana was found in his possession during a search conducted on 23 February 2025.
On 27 March 2026, a 44-year-old man reported the theft of a “Piaggio Gilera” motorcycle in Kisela Voda. Measures are being taken to locate the vehicle.
On 24 March 2026, a 45-year-old man reported being defrauded of €3,500 by a person falsely claiming to be a police officer who promised to help recover previously lost funds. The case is under investigation.
SVR Kumanovo filed charges against A.K. (24) after amphetamine and marijuana were found in his possession during a search conducted on 23 October 2025.
On 28 March 2026 at 00:30, a 31-year-old woman reported that her 14-year-old daughter was found to be in advanced pregnancy following a medical examination. According to the report, the minor stated she had a consensual relationship with another minor during summer 2025. Measures are being taken to fully clarify the case.
