The Gostivar Police Department filed criminal charges against two 39-year-old former spouses from Gostivar on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of “bodily harm.” On 09 March 2026, following a prior argument in their family home in Gostivar, a physical altercation occurred between them, during which the mother physically assaulted their minor daughter when she attempted to inform her grandfather about the incident.
The Prilep Police Department filed criminal charges against B.K. (33) from Prilep on suspicion of “obstructing an official in the performance of official duties.” On 10 February 2026 in the village of Senokos, the suspect twice obstructed the movement of a seized vehicle and attempted to take the keys from a vehicle containing police officers and a detained person.
The Kavadarci Police Department filed criminal charges against A.I. (31) from Kavadarci on suspicion of “unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, and precursors.” On 03 October 2025, during a search, police officers found and seized amphetamine and marijuana.
The External Office for Criminal Affairs Gostivar filed criminal charges against B.O. (59) from Gostivar for the same offense. In March 2026, during searches of his home and a weekend house in the village of Leunovo (Municipality of Mavrovo and Rostuše), marijuana was found and seized.
On 28 March 2026 at 21:15 in Sveti Nikole, police officers detained A.P. (25) from the village of Gorobinci and D.T. (30) from Sveti Nikole. During a court-ordered search of D.T.’s home and other premises, powder substance, a bottle with liquid, and a digital scale with residue were found and seized. A powder substance was also found on A.P., who was present at the location. A public prosecutor has been notified, and appropriate charges will follow.
On 28 March 2026 in Skopje, at several locations, police officers detained M.S. (45) and E.Š. (30), both from Skopje, after marijuana was found and seized. Charges will follow after full documentation.
On 28 March 2026, a traffic accident was reported at around 07:00 on “Saraevska” Street in the village of Gorno Orizari (Veles area), involving a “Chevrolet” driven by J.H. (51) and an “Opel” driven by J.A. (29). J.H. sustained serious injuries, while J.A. sustained bodily injuries. An on-site inspection was conducted.
Another accident occurred at around 12:30 at the intersection of “Zef Ljuš Marku” and “Fan Noli” streets in Skopje between an “Opel Astra” driven by P.I. (55) and an electric scooter operated by a minor. A minor passenger on the scooter sustained serious injuries.
At around 09:15, another accident occurred at the intersection of a service road and “Jane Sandanski” Boulevard in Skopje, where a “Škoda” driven by M.N.K. (68) struck a 75-year-old pedestrian, who sustained serious injuries.
On 28 March 2026, police officers from the Kumanovo Police Department detained R.R. (30) from Kumanovo on suspicion of theft and attempted theft from a business facility, a passenger vehicle, and private property. Charges will follow.
On 29 March 2026 at around 03:50, it was reported that on 28 March at around 23:00, at a bus stop in the Karpoš area, a minor from the village of Volkovo was physically assaulted by a group of minors. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.
On 28 March 2026, emergency medical services reported that N.A.L. (43) from Skopje was found deceased in her home in the Kisela Voda area. Death was confirmed by a doctor, and the body was sent for autopsy by order of a public prosecutor.
At around 20:30 in the Gazi Baba area of Skopje, a fire broke out in an abandoned house. There were no injuries, and the fire was extinguished by the Fire Protection Brigade.
On 28 March 2026 at 23:00 in Tetovo, police detained I.C. (44) after a white powder substance was found on him; he stated he had purchased it from Š.B. (62), who was later also detained. Mobile phones and money were seized, and charges will follow.
Later, at 22:40 in Tetovo, police detained R.M. (39) and A.M. (39) after a white powder substance was found on A.M. They are being held pending further proceedings.
At 20:50 in the village of Dolno Sedlarce (Municipality of Brvenica), a vehicle struck a pedestrian Z.S. (70) and fled the scene. The pedestrian sustained serious injuries, and measures are being taken to identify the driver.
At 21:00 in the Karpoš area of Skopje, a public order disturbance occurred outside a hospitality venue following a dispute, resulting in a physical altercation between two 18-year-olds and three minors. They were detained, and appropriate charges will follow after the case is documented.
