On 09/10.04.2026 in Skopje, at several locations, police officers from SVR Skopje deprived of liberty H.N. (27), K.K. (19), G.A. (21), A.B. (23), V.T. (35), the 40-year-old B.K., and the 18-year-old M.J., all from Skopje, as white powdery substance, marijuana, and a grinder with marijuana residue were found and seized from them. After full documentation of the cases, appropriate charges will be filed against them.
On 09.04.2026 at 09:30, it was reported to SVR Skopje that a traffic accident occurred on “Makedonsko-Kosovska Brigada” street in Skopje between a passenger vehicle “Volkswagen Golf” with Skopje license plates, driven by N.A. (64) from the village of Sredno Konjari, Skopje area, and a moped with Skopje license plates driven by M.Z. (60) from Skopje. In the accident, M.Z. sustained serious bodily injuries, confirmed at PHI “St. Naum Ohridski” Skopje. An inspection was carried out by an SVR Skopje investigation team.
SVR Tetovo filed a criminal complaint against A.Sh. (61) from the village of Studeničani, Skopje area, on suspicion of committing the criminal offense “unauthorized entry into military facilities and making sketches or recordings of military facilities and combat equipment.” On 17.02.2025, the reported person, as a bus driver of a company contracted by the Ministry of Defence for organized inter-garrison transport, made three video recordings inside the barracks in Tetovo, which he shared via a mobile application.
On 09.04.2026 at 13:30, it was reported at the Police Office Pehchevo that a traffic accident occurred on “Bel Kamen” street in Pehchevo between a passenger vehicle “Lada Niva” with Pehchevo license plates, driven by M.A. (31) from Pehchevo, and a passenger vehicle “GAZ” with Shtip license plates, driven by the 44-year-old M.A.J. from Pehchevo. In the accident, the driver M.A. sustained serious bodily injuries, confirmed at the Clinical Hospital Shtip, while a 68-year-old passenger T.A. from the “GAZ” vehicle sustained bodily injuries, confirmed at the General Hospital Kochani. An inspection was carried out by a team from OVR Berovo.
On 09.04.2026 in Radovish, police officers from SVR Strumica – OVR Radovish deprived A.G. (22) from Radovish of liberty. Namely, on the same day, officers conducted a search around a former winery on “Chede Filipovski Dame” street, where a police dog found two packages of marijuana. After measures were taken, it was established that the marijuana belonged to A.G., who admitted this during an official interview. A public prosecutor from the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office Strumica was informed, and after documentation of the case, an appropriate report will be filed.
On 09.04.2026, at the Police Department Nov Dojran, D.A. (78) from Nov Dojran reported that he had found a grenade in a field in the area of Nov Dojran. An official from the Directorate for Protection and Rescue safely removed the grenade, which was determined to be an unexploded 155 mm artillery shell originating from World War I.
On 09.04.2026 at 20:10, G.D. from the village of Leshok reported to SVR Tetovo that he had noticed a person stealing iron poles from his weekend houses under construction. Immediately after the report, police officers from the Police Department Tearce took measures and at 21:15 deprived R.A. (38) from Tetovo of liberty. He was detained at a police station, and after documentation of the case, appropriate charges will follow.
On 09.04.2026 at 15:00, it was reported to SVR Kumanovo that a traffic accident occurred at the intersection of “11 Oktomvri,” “Done Bozhinov,” and “Goce Delchev” streets in Kumanovo between a passenger vehicle “Peugeot,” owned by the Ministry of Interior and driven by M.T. (31), an employee of the Ministry, and a “Volkswagen Golf” with Kumanovo plates driven by the 23-year-old B.A. from Kumanovo. In the accident, passenger O.A. (53) from Kumanovo, also an employee of the Ministry, sustained bodily injuries, confirmed at the General Hospital Kumanovo. An inspection was conducted by an SVR Kumanovo team.
On 09.04.2026 at 13:25, it was reported to SVR Skopje that A.S. (65) from Skopje was found deceased in a commercial facility in the Bit Pazar area. Police officers went to the scene, and an employee B.S. (28) stated that A.S. had come to visit. According to the report, after the employee went to the fifth floor and informed A.S. that the elevator was not working, he later heard the elevator alarm activate. Upon returning to the ground floor, he found A.S. lying on the floor near the elevator. A doctor from Emergency Medical Services confirmed death, and by order of a public prosecutor, the body was sent for autopsy.
On 10.04.2026 at 01:15, V.Ch. from Skopje reported that on 09.04.2026 around 20:30 in Shuto Orizari, two male persons threatened his 15-year-old son and took his mobile phone. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.
On 09.04.2026 at 22:40 in Skopje, police officers deprived E.J. (18) of liberty. According to the report, around 21:00 in Karposh, after a prior arranged meeting, E.J. physically attacked I.I. (20), after which she called several friends who also assaulted the victim, one of them using a hard object. Measures are being taken and appropriate charges will follow.
On 09.04.2026 at 12:30, police officers from OVR Struga conducted an official interview with G.M. (52) from the village of Kalista. Earlier, he had been found on his land near the Struga–Kalista road where a fire had broken out in dry grass and waste. There were no injuries, and the fire extinguished itself. A public prosecutor was informed.
SVR Ohrid filed a criminal complaint against a private security agency from Skopje and I.S. (57), its owner and manager, for “abuse of public procurement procedure.” The suspect failed to meet contractual obligations with the Cultural Heritage Protection Office by not engaging the required number of licensed personnel.
SVR Ohrid also filed a criminal complaint against V.Kj. (36) from Ohrid for “unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs.” During a vehicle search on 03.04.2026, cocaine was found, and additional cocaine was later found in a facility used by the suspect.

On 10.04.2026 at 03:00, it was reported that on 09.04.2026 around 21:00 in Shuto Orizari, public order was disturbed due to a physical fight between N.D. (50) and N.A. (22). Appropriate charges will follow.
On 09.04.2026 at 17:00, Gj.S. (59) reported that on 08.04.2026 he was physically attacked by his neighbor I.M., who used a hard object.
