On 10/11.04.2026 in Skopje, at several locations, police officers from the Skopje Police Department deprived E.S. (39), R.R. (39), Z.K. (43), J.K.J. (35), all from Skopje, and B.A. (27) from the village of Singelić, Skopje area, of their liberty after white powdery substances and marijuana were found and seized from them. After full documentation of the cases, appropriate charges will be filed.
On 10.04.2026 at around 16:00, it was reported to the Skopje Police Department that on “Partizanski Odredi” Boulevard in Skopje, F.E.T. (22) from Turkey, while operating an electric scooter, hit pedestrian K.B. (55) from Skopje and fled the scene. The pedestrian sustained serious bodily injuries, confirmed at the Public Health Institution “St. Naum Ohridski” Skopje. An investigation was conducted, and measures are being taken to locate the driver.
On 10.04.2026 at 20:25, police officers from the Skopje Police Department deprived a 16-year-old from the village of Morani, Skopje area, of liberty. He is suspected of physically attacking H.D. (18) from the same village following a prior argument and inflicting serious bodily injuries with a knife, confirmed at a private hospital in Skopje. The knife was found and seized, and after full documentation, appropriate charges will follow.
On 11.04.2026 at 04:24, it was reported that in the Bit Pazar area of Skopje, a fire broke out in a passenger vehicle “Ford” with Skopje license plates, owned by O.M. (58) from Skopje. The fire also affected a “BMW” and a “Volkswagen Golf,” both with Skopje plates. The Skopje Fire Brigade extinguished the fire, and no injuries were reported. An investigation was conducted.
On 10.04.2026 at 17:50 in the village of Blatec, Vinica area, police officers from the Vinica Police Department deprived M.K. (44) of liberty for aggressive behavior and obstructing a police officer while performing official duties. An alcohol test showed 3.18 promille of alcohol in his blood. The Department for Cross-Border Crime, Migration, Foreigners and Readmission Gevgelija filed criminal charges against I.G. (34) from Gevgelija on suspicion of committing the crime of “assisting an offender after committing a criminal act.” On 30.05.2025, at a location called “Nova Deponija” above the village of Novo Konsko, the suspect failed to stop at a police signal while driving a vehicle and fled together with a passenger who was wanted on a warrant to serve a four-year prison sentence.
On 10.04.2026 at 22:00 on the local road to the village of Kamenjane, police officers stopped a passenger vehicle “Golf” with Tetovo license plates, driven by A.D. (19) from the village of Ozormishte, who did not possess a driver’s license. During a search of the trunk, an injured dog of the “pit bull” breed was found. The occupants stated that the dog had been injured in a dog fight in the village of Kamenjane. Along with the driver, two 17-year-old passengers from the village of Zhelino were also detained. A veterinary inspector was notified, and measures are being taken for proper treatment of the animal and documentation of the case.
On 10.04.2026 at 20:30, S.M. from Skopje reported that at around 10:30 at a bus stop in the Centar area of Skopje, an individual used physical force to steal jewelry she was wearing. Measures are being taken to solve the case.
On 10.04.2026 at around 22:30, it was reported that in front of a hotel in the Aerodrom municipality in Skopje, following a prior argument over work duties, public order and peace were disturbed by a physical fight between F.I. (28) and B.M. (36), both from Skopje and employed at the hotel. After full documentation, appropriate charges will follow.
