On 28 June 2026 at around 08:40, it was reported to the SVR Skopje that a traffic accident occurred on the Skopje–Veles regional road involving a Volkswagen Golf with Skopje registration plates, driven by G.S. (75) from Skopje, and a Hamachi moped with Skopje registration plates, ridden by T.T. (54) from Skopje. The moped rider sustained serious bodily injuries, which were confirmed at the St. Naum Ohridski Public Health Institution in Skopje. An inspection was carried out by a crime scene investigation team from SVR Skopje.

On 28 June 2026 at 17:25, it was reported to the Resen Police Department (OVR Resen) that a traffic accident occurred at the intersection of Kocho Racin Street and Hristo Gerasovski Street in Resen between a Mercedes passenger vehicle with Resen registration plates, driven by Lj.N. (22) from the village of Drmeni, Resen municipality, and a moped with Resen registration plates, ridden by M.T. (48) from Resen. The moped rider sustained serious bodily injuries, confirmed at the Clinical Hospital in Bitola. A police investigation was conducted by officers from OVR Resen.

On 28 June 2026 at 13:30, at the Deve Bair Border Crossing, upon entry into the country, police officers arrested O.S. (45), a citizen of Ukraine residing in Skopje. During border control and checks in the operational database, it was established that he was subject to a "stop" measure at the request of the Basic Criminal Court Skopje. He had arrived driving a Hyundai with Bulgarian registration plates and was under an active driving ban.

On 28 June 2026 at 14:35, it was reported to the Gostivar Police Department (OVR Gostivar) that a traffic accident occurred on the Gostivar–Vrutok regional road, in the village of Zdunje, involving an Opel passenger vehicle with Gostivar registration plates, driven by B.J. (44) from Gostivar, and a moped with Gostivar registration plates, ridden by M.T. (26) from Gostivar. The moped rider sustained serious bodily injuries, confirmed at the Gostivar Medical Center. An investigation was carried out by OVR Gostivar officers.

The National Unit for Cross-Border Crime in Gostivar (NKKR Gostivar) filed criminal charges against M.T. (50) for the criminal offense of "endangering security" against his 69-year-old mother, I.T., both from a village in the Gostivar area. On 13 June 2026 at around 18:30, in the yard of the family home, the suspect allegedly made serious death threats against his mother.

On 28 June 2026 at 01:15, at the Tabanovce Border Crossing, while exiting the country, police officers arrested F.A. (33) from Tetovo after border checks revealed that the Audi A8 he was driving was listed as stolen by Interpol Germany. The vehicle was seized, and an appropriate criminal report will be filed after the case is documented.

On 29 June 2026 at 01:10, in the village of Mesheishta, Debrca Municipality, police officers from SVR Ohrid arrested K.Gj. (32) from the same village. Earlier, inside a hospitality establishment in Mesheishta, he had physically assaulted Lj.Gj. (57) from Mesheishta and A.S. from the village of Vranishta, Struga municipality, using a wooden object. He later damaged a Volkswagen passenger vehicle with Struga registration plates outside the establishment. Following full documentation of the case, appropriate charges will be filed.

On 29 June 2026 at 01:30, on Vidoe Smilevski Bato Street in Tetovo, police officers from SVR Tetovo arrested M.D. (19) from Tetovo for behaving aggressively and threatening police officers performing official duties. During police action, it was established that he was under the influence of alcohol, with a measured blood alcohol concentration of 1.33‰ (promille). Appropriate charges will follow after the case is fully documented.

On 28 June 2026 at around 19:00, P.P. (48) from Skopje reported to SVR Skopje that his minor son had been physically assaulted by P. "N". at a playground in the Centar municipality. Measures are being taken to clarify the circumstances.

On 28 June 2026 at around 18:30, it was reported to SVR Skopje that public order and peace were disturbed in the Karpoš municipality due to a physical altercation between D.I. (26) and S.J. (22), both from Skopje. Appropriate legal action will be taken after the case is fully documented.

On 28 June 2026 at 18:00, R.P. (51) from Skopje reported to SVR Skopje that on 27 June 2026 at around 21:30, in the Bit Pazar area, his minor son had been physically assaulted by three juveniles. Measures are being taken to solve the case.

On 28 June 2026 at 10:20, B.A. (72) from the village of Ljuboten, Skopje region, reported to SVR Skopje that following an earlier argument, he, his son, and his daughter-in-law had been physically assaulted by B.A. (47) from the same village. Appropriate legal action will follow after the case is documented.

On 28 June 2026 at 18:30, Dž.I. (29) from Skopje reported to SVR Skopje that she had been physically assaulted in the Čair municipality by her neighbor I.F. Appropriate legal action will follow after the case is documented.

On 28 June 2026 at 18:15, it was reported to SVR Skopje that M.J. (58) from Skopje was found deceased in a swimming pool located in the yard of a house in the Karpoš municipality. A doctor from the Emergency Medical Service confirmed the death, noting no visible signs of violence. A police investigation was conducted, and following instructions from the public prosecutor, the body was sent to the Institute of Forensic Medicine for an autopsy.

On 28 June 2026 at 19:00, police officers from the Kriva Palanka Police Department (OVR Kriva Palanka) arrested D.M. (46) from a village in the Kriva Palanka area for physically assaulting his 37-year-old wife. He was taken into police custody, and appropriate charges will be filed after the case is fully documented.

On 28 June 2026 at 16:35, I.E. (74) from Skopje reported to SVR Skopje that at around 14:30, while in City Park in Skopje, he had been attacked by two individuals using a blunt object. They stole his bag containing a wallet, cash, personal identification documents, and a mobile phone. Police are taking measures to identify the perpetrators.

On 28 June 2026 at 16:20, in the village of Laskarci, Skopje region, police officers from SVR Skopje arrested R.S. (48) from the same village following a report that he had fired a handgun during a family celebration. Appropriate legal action will be taken after the case is documented.

On 28 June 2026 at 17:30, a 47-year-old woman from a village in the Gostivar area reported to OVR Gostivar that on 20 June 2026 at around 13:00, while she was working in a hospitality establishment, her husband S.M. came to the premises, demanded money from her, and threatened her. She also reported that on 28 June 2026, he sent her a threatening text message. Police are taking measures to clarify the case.

On 29 June 2026 at around 03:35, it was reported to SVR Skopje that a bakery in the Bit Pazar area had caught fire. The fire was extinguished by the owner, and no injuries were reported. A crime scene investigation will be conducted during the day.

On 28 June 2026 at 17:00, in the Skopje area, police officers from SVR Skopje arrested R.V. (40) from Skopje following a report that he had physically assaulted his 64-year-old mother at their home. Appropriate legal action will follow after the case is fully documented.
