Excerpt from the Daily Events Report 26 .09. 2026

On 25/26 September 2026, in the area of Centar in Skopje, police officers from SVR Skopje arrested N.S. (49) from Skopje and J.P. (20) after a white powdery substance and a tablet were found in their possession and confiscated. Following the complete documentation of the cases, appropriate charges will be filed against them.

On 25 September 2026 at 22:30, SVR Kumanovo received a report that a traffic accident had occurred on a local road in the village of Lopate, Kumanovo region, involving a Mercedes passenger vehicle with Kumanovo registration plates, driven by a 15-year-old from the village of Lopate, and a bicycle ridden by I.H. (50), also from the village of Lopate. The cyclist sustained serious bodily injuries, which were confirmed at the Kumanovo Emergency Center. A public prosecutor was informed about the incident, and an investigative team from SVR Kumanovo conducted an inspection of the scene.

On 25 September 2026 at 00:35 in Radoviš, police officers from SVR Strumica – Radoviš External Office for Internal Affairs arrested S.Z. (24) from the village of Injevo, Radoviš region, S.A. (38), and G.O. (23), both from Radoviš. During a search of a Volkswagen passenger vehicle with Radoviš registration plates, driven by S.Z., with S.A. and G.O. as passengers, a package containing cocaine was found. A public prosecutor was informed, and following documentation of the incident, an appropriate criminal charge will be filed.

On 25 September 2026 at 12:50, V.K. (59) from Valandovo reported to the Valandovo Police Station that four unexploded grenades had been found near the regional road R-1401, at a location known as the “Čalakli” intersection. The Directorate for Protection and Rescue was notified to remove the grenades.

On 25 June 2026, SVR Veles received a report from the Idrizovo Prison – Open Department Veles stating that tablets and marijuana had been found in the possession of inmate K.A. (30) from Veles. Police officers from the Department for Illicit Drug Trafficking at SVR Veles conducted an official interview with K.A., while the items found were confiscated. Following documentation of the incident, an appropriate criminal charge will be filed.

On 25 September 2026 at 20:20, the Struga External Office for Internal Affairs received a report that a traffic accident had occurred on the Podmolje–Struga regional road between a Peugeot 2008 passenger vehicle with Strumica registration plates, driven by J.M. (59) from Strumica, and a Ford Fiesta passenger vehicle with Kičevo registration plates, driven by K.Š.Z. (41) from Kičevo. K.Š.Z. sustained serious bodily injuries, while J.M. and his passenger R.M. (57), both from Strumica, sustained bodily injuries. The injuries were confirmed at the Struga Medical Center. An investigative team from the Struga External Office for Internal Affairs conducted an inspection of the scene.

On 25 September 2026 at 20:10, police officers from the Department for Illicit Drug Trafficking at SVR Veles conducted an official interview with S.K. (20) from Veles after a grinder containing marijuana residue was found in his possession and confiscated during a search. A public prosecutor was informed, and following documentation of the incident, an appropriate criminal charge will be filed.

On 25 September 2026 at 20:20, the Kičevo External Office for Internal Affairs received a report that, on the Gostivar–Kičevo main road, at the “Straža” mountain pass, a Ford passenger vehicle with Kičevo registration plates, driven by D.S. (54) from Kičevo, had left the road and overturned. The driver sustained serious bodily injuries, while his 48-year-old passenger S.S. from Kičevo sustained bodily injuries. The injuries were confirmed at the Kičevo Medical Center. An investigative team from the Kičevo External Office for Internal Affairs conducted an inspection of the scene.

On 24 September 2026 at 18:45, police officers from the Kavadarci External Office for Internal Affairs arrested B.K. (75) from Kavadarci because, at a location known as “Begovo Pole,” in the territory of the village of Drenovo, Kavadarci region, he had set fire to dry grass in his own field, after which the fire spread and caught trees in neighboring fields. No persons were injured, and he extinguished the fire himself. An investigative team from the Kavadarci External Office for Internal Affairs inspected the scene, and following documentation of the incident, an appropriate criminal charge will be filed.

During the past 24 hours, at various locations across the country, police officers arrested six drivers for committing the criminal offense of “reckless driving of a motor vehicle” under Article 297-a of the Criminal Code. All six individuals were driving without having passed a driving test. They were: E.I. (29) from the village of Crvena Voda, Studeničani Municipality; E.S. (30) from Skopje; B.R. (30) from the village of Raduša, Saraj Municipality; Š.S. (25) from the village of Poroj, Tetovo region; B.Z. (28) from Tetovo; and F.T. (23) from Veles. Following the complete documentation of the cases, appropriate criminal complaints will be filed.

On 25 September 2026 at 14:45 in the village of Radolišta, Struga region, police officers from the Struga External Office for Internal Affairs arrested B.K. (44) from Ohrid. During a search of a Chevrolet passenger vehicle with Ohrid registration plates, which he was driving, a package containing a white powdery substance was found in his possession. Following the complete documentation of the case, an appropriate charge will be filed against him.

On 25 September 2026 at 15:38, SVR Skopje received a report from the public healthcare institution City General Hospital “St. Naum Ohridski” in Skopje that a 13-year-old boy from Skopje had been brought there with injuries. According to the report, at approximately 12:20 in the area of the Aerodrom Municipality in Skopje, he had been physically assaulted by S.R., the parent of one of his classmates. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.

On 25 September 2026 at 21:45, police officers from the Gostivar External Office for Internal Affairs arrested K.A. (44) from Gostivar, acting on a previous report that he had behaved aggressively and threatened his 67-year-old father. The person was detained at a police station, and following documentation of the case, an appropriate report will be filed.

On 25 September 2026 at 09:30, N.J. (55) from Skopje reported to SVR Skopje that at approximately 08:30, at his workplace in the Gazi Baba Municipality, he had been physically assaulted by his colleague D.D. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.

On 25 September 2026 at 17:30 in Skopje, police officers from SVR Skopje arrested M.B. (44) from Skopje, acting on a previous report that he had physically assaulted his 37-year-old wife in the area of Centar in Skopje. Following the complete documentation of the case, an appropriate report will be filed.

On 25 September 2026 at 12:30, a 31-year-old woman from Skopje reported to SVR Skopje that on 24 September 2026 at approximately 11:45, in the area of the Aerodrom Municipality in Skopje, her brother-in-law R.M. from Skopje had threatened her. According to the report, he had previously also made threats against her immediate family. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.

On 25 September 2026 at 18:30 in Skopje, police officers from SVR Skopje arrested D.P. (49) from Skopje, acting on a previous report that, at the family home in the area of the Aerodrom Municipality in Skopje, he had threatened his 41-year-old sister and their father. A public prosecutor was informed about the incident, and following the complete documentation of the case, an appropriate report will be filed.

On 25 September 2026 at 12:38, a 20-year-old woman from Skopje reported to SVR Skopje that, at the family home in the area of Kisela Voda, her 49-year-old mother D.S. had threatened her. Following measures taken by the police, her mother was placed in a healthcare facility.

On 25 September 2026 at 18:45, E.U. (23) from Skopje reported that, in the official premises of a legal entity in the area of Karpoš, following previously strained relations, he had been physically assaulted by his colleague M.M. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.

Ž.G. (48) from the village of Volkovo, Skopje region, reported to SVR Skopje that on 24 September 2026 at approximately 16:20, at the Transport Center in Skopje, he had been physically assaulted by an unidentified male person. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.
