(54) from the village of Smojmirovo, Berovo region, due to the existence of grounds for suspicion of a crime "abuse of official position and authority". The accused, employed as a forest ranger and tasked by the subsidiary to receive wood assortments from private forests and issue shipping documents for transport, on several occasions, without first determining the actual situation where the cut wood originated, issued official documentation - a logging receipt, a delivery receipt and a shipping document for net wood in a total quantity of 38.43 cubic meters, although he consciously knew that the wood originated from a forest owned by the Republic of North Macedonia.

On 24.11.2025 at 10:00, police officers from the SVR Ohrid deprived a 16-year-old from Ohrid of his liberty on suspicion that on 12.11.2025 he had committed adultery with a 12-year-old girl from Ohrid, and another minor was filming the act. A 14-year-old from Ohrid came across the video material, who blackmailed the girl to be with him, otherwise he would publish the video. The SVR Ohrid is taking measures to find this minor as well. A medical examination was performed on the minor, and police officers and representatives of the Ohrid Center for Social Affairs, in the presence of a parent, conducted an official interview. After fully documenting the event, in consultation with a public prosecutor, appropriate charges will be filed against the perpetrators.
