On 22/23.05.2026 in Skopje, at several locations, police officers from the SVR Skopje deprived A.A. (28), M.K. (30), and S.A. (30), all from Skopje, of their liberty after white powdery substance and marijuana were found and seized from them. After the cases are fully documented, appropriate charges will be filed.
On 23.05.2026 at around 03:00, it was reported to SVR Skopje that a fire had broken out on “Skenderbeg Kastrioti” Street in the Dračevo neighborhood, affecting a “Ford Focus” passenger vehicle with Skopje license plates, owned by Q.A. (22) from Skopje. The fire was extinguished by a team from the Skopje Fire Protection Brigade and no persons were injured. An inspection was carried out.
On 22.05.2026 at 21:20, J.V.D. (42) from Skopje reported to SVR Skopje that on 21.05.2026 at around 19:30 she heard knocking noises on the roof of her house on “Gjorgji Dinkata” Street in Dračevo, and on 22.05.2026 at around 21:00 she found a bullet from a firearm on the stairs of the house. The bullet was collected for further proceedings and measures are being undertaken to clarify the case.
On 22.05.2026 at around 11:00, it was reported to the Police Department in Berovo that in the village of Crnik, Pehčevo municipality, a 12-year-old minor from the same village, while operating an electric scooter, struck a five-year-old child from the village. The five-year-old sustained serious bodily injuries confirmed at the Emergency Medical Service in Pehčevo. An on-site investigation was conducted by an inspection team from the Police Department in Berovo.
The External Office for Criminal Affairs in Sveti Nikole filed criminal charges against T.I. (56) from the village of Koselari, Lozovo municipality, on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of “unauthorized manufacture, possession, mediation and trade in weapons or explosive materials.” On 27.11.2025, police officers carried out a search of the suspect’s home and other premises, where several pieces of ammunition were found and seized.
On 22.05.2026 at around 00:30 in the village of Gorobinci, Sveti Nikole municipality, police officers from the Police Department in Sveti Nikole detained O.N. (57) and B.C. (58), both from the village, for disturbing public order and peace through a physical altercation. While measures were being taken to detain them, Zh.M. (48) from the same village physically assaulted a police officer, after which he was deprived of liberty and held at a police station. Following full documentation of the case, appropriate charges will be filed.
On 22.05.2026 at 23:30, I.G. (58) from the village of Kondovo, Skopje region, reported to SVR Skopje that at around 21:15 on “Partizanski Odredi” Boulevard in the Center municipality, four individuals threatened and stole an electric scooter from his minor son, with one of the persons also physically assaulting him. Measures are being undertaken to clarify the case.
On 22.05.2026 at 10:40, police officers from the External Office for Criminal Affairs in Gostivar deprived Sh.J. (24) from the village of Raven of liberty. During a search of his home and auxiliary premises in Raven, conducted under a court order issued by the Basic Court in Gostivar, marijuana was found and seized. After full documentation of the case, appropriate charges will be filed against him under Article 215 of the Criminal Code for “unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors.”
On 22.05.2026 at 16:20 in Radoviš, police officers from SVR Strumica – Police Department Radoviš deprived J.D. (29) from Radoviš of liberty. Previously, a video recording was posted on social media showing a male person firing a pistol, and following undertaken measures it was established that the individual in the video was S.A. (32) from Radoviš. Based on a court order, a search was carried out at S.A.’s home, during which a rifle, gas pistol, ammunition for the gas pistol, 7.65 mm caliber bullets, and a sword with a sheath were found and seized in a room belonging to his brother J.D. The public prosecutor from the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office in Strumica was informed, and after documentation of the case, appropriate charges will be filed.
SVR Tetovo filed criminal charges against B.E. (34) on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of “unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors.” On 16.05.2026, in front of a hospitality facility in Tetovo, police officers conducted a search of the suspect and found and seized cocaine.
On 22.05.2026 at 22:50 in Bogdanci, police officers from SVR Strumica – Police Department Gevgelija deprived P.P. (27) from Bogdanci of liberty. During an inspection of an “Audi” passenger vehicle with Gevgelija license plates that he was driving, marijuana was found and seized. A public prosecutor from the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office in Gevgelija was informed, and after documentation of the case, an appropriate submission will be filed.
On 23.05.2026 at 01:00 on “Marshal Tito” Street in Tetovo, police officers from SVR Tetovo deprived M.A. (22) from Tetovo of liberty after white powdery substance was found and seized from him. He was detained at a police station and, after the case is fully documented, appropriate charges will be filed against him.
SVR Tetovo filed criminal charges against B.M. (40) from Tetovo on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of “endangering security.” Through mutual acquaintances, the suspect allegedly made telephone threats to a person from Germany over unresolved debtor-creditor relations.
On 22.05.2026 at 12:30, police officers from SVR Veles detained S.K. (48) from the village of Gorno Orizari, Veles region. He was wanted under an order from the Basic Court in Veles to serve a prison sentence of ten months for the criminal offense of “assault on an official person while performing security duties” under Article 383 of the Criminal Code. He was transferred to the Idrizovo Penitentiary Institution to serve the sentence.
On 22.05.2026 at 11:30, a public institution for child care in the Center municipality in Skopje reported to SVR Skopje that on 21.05.2026 at around 23:00, a 15-year-old resident attempted to sexually assault a 14-year-old resident, and after being noticed by an employee, the 15-year-old left the facility. Measures are being undertaken to clarify the case.
On 22.05.2026 at 16:35 at the Police Unit Petrovec, B.P. (34) from the village of Marino, Ilinden municipality, reported that at 14:50 at a playground in a school yard in the Ilinden settlement, her minor son had been physically assaulted by N.T., the father of another minor with whom the child had been playing and had a brief argument. Measures are being undertaken to clarify the case.
On 22.05.2026 at 14:02, S.J. (60) from Skopje reported to SVR Skopje that on 20.05.2026 at around 13:45 he noticed two individuals attempting to steal a motorcycle from a garage owned by Z.A. (47), and that they physically assaulted him when he tried to stop them. Measures are being undertaken to clarify the case.
On 22.05.2026 at 19:31 at the Gazi Baba Police Station in Skopje, an official interview was conducted with D.J. (26) from Skopje, acting upon a previous report filed by S.A. (21), claiming that D.J. physically assaulted him on 17.05.2026 at around 22:40. After the case is fully documented, an appropriate submission will follow.
On 22.05.2026 at 22:30, A.M. (55) from Skopje reported to SVR Skopje that at around 19:30 in the Center municipality in Skopje, an individual used physical force to steal a bicycle belonging to his minor son. Measures are being undertaken to clarify the case.
