The Tetovo State Police filed a criminal complaint against R.K. (38) from Tetovo due to the existence of grounds for suspicion of committing a crime of "unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors". On 13.06.2025 in Tetovo, police officers gave a stop sign to a passenger vehicle "BMW" with Swiss national plates, which was driven by the accused, but he did not stop and threw cocaine from the vehicle, after which the vehicle was stopped.

The Department for Internal Control, Criminal Investigations and Professional Standards of the Ministry of Internal Affairs filed a criminal complaint against citizen P.M. with the competent Basic Public Prosecutor's Office Veles. due to grounds for suspicion of committing a criminal offense "false reporting of a criminal offense", provided for and punishable under Article 366 of the Criminal Code. P.M. on 23.09.2025 at the SVR Veles in a report for receiving a report, as a damaged party, reported two police officers from the PS for BPS Veles for the criminal offense "harassment in the performance of duty" while performing traffic safety work. The reported police officers recorded their actions with the mobile camera recording system, which established that P.M. falsely reported the police officers even though he was warned about the consequences of false reporting when filing the report. P.M. falsely reported the police officers even though he was aware and, as a direct participant in the event, knew that the police officers did not commit the criminal offense, thus wrongly and maliciously causing the intervention of the law enforcement authorities against the police officers. By stating this, the accused threatened the personal freedoms and rights, as well as the honor and reputation of the police officers he reported.

The Veles State Police filed a criminal complaint against P.A. from Vinica due to the existence of grounds for suspicion of committing a crime of "production and distribution of child pornography". On 20.11.2025, the accused sent messages from a fake social network profile containing explicit photos and videos to a profile of a minor. An official interview was conducted with him at the police station, during which he confessed to the crime.

 

SVR Bitola filed criminal charges against I.P. (38) and G.P. (49), both from Prilep, due to the existence of grounds for suspicion of committing a crime of "spreading racist and xenophobic material through a computer system". On 17.11.2025, on a social media information portal, the defendants published a post inciting hatred and intolerance.

On 20/21.01.2026 in Skopje, at different locations, police officers from SVR Skopje deprived of their liberty G.D. (41), S.Zh. (47) and D.J. (37), all from Skopje, and B.T. (22) from Turkey, because marijuana was found and confiscated from them. After the cases are fully documented, appropriate submissions will follow.

On 21.01.2026 at 04:50 in the Kriva Palanka Police Department, it was reported that on the main road Border Crossing Deve Bair - Kriva Palanka, in the area of ​​the village of Uzem, Kriva Palanka, a "Scania" truck with Kosovo national registration plates, driven by N.H. (56) from Kosovo, ran off the road and fell into a ravine. The driver N.H. died from his injuries at the scene of the accident, and a doctor from the Emergency Medical Service declared him dead. An inspection was carried out, and by order of the public prosecutor, the body of the deceased was sent for autopsy.


On 20.01.2026 at 14:41, the Bitola SVR reported that on a local road to the village of Rusjaci, Makedonski Brod municipality, a passenger vehicle "Citroen" with Kichevo license plates, driven by K.S.S. (41) from Kichevo, ran off the road and overturned. From the injuries sustained, 41-year-old K.S.S. died at the scene of the accident. A doctor confirmed death, and by order of the public prosecutor, the body of the deceased was sent for autopsy. The passengers S.S. (69), M.S. (62) and a six-year-old child, all from Kichevo, sustained bodily injuries, and were diagnosed at the Prilep General Hospital. An inspection team from the Bitola SVR conducted an inspection.

The Ohrid SVR filed criminal charges against A.I. (37) and A.I. (31), both from the Struga village of Delogožda, due to the existence of grounds for suspicion of committing the crime of "forest destruction" under Article 226 of the Criminal Code. On 29.12.2025, during a control in the area of ​​the village of Botun, municipality of Debrca, police officers from the Ohrid SVR found the defendants in the act of unauthorized logging of wood, some of which was loaded into a "Nissan Terano" vehicle. The wood was seized and handed over to the Forest Police, and the defendants were deprived of their liberty.

On 20.01.2026 at 08:59 in the SVR of Stip, GJ.J. (54) from the village of Beli, Kočani region, reported that at the crossroads for the village of Nivicani, Kočani region, next to a field, he found an unexploded grenade. An inspection was carried out, and a pyrotechnician from the Directorate for Protection and Rescue safely lifted the grenade.

The Struga Police Department filed criminal charges against D.S. (33) from Struga due to the existence of grounds for suspicion of committing the crime of "unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors". During a search of his car on "Proleterski brigadi" street in Struga, police officers found and seized marijuana.

 

On 20.01.2026 at 18:30, the Gevgelija Police Station was reported that on a service road along the "Prijatelstvo" highway, towards the Bogorodica Border Crossing, a passenger vehicle "Daihatsu" with Gevgelija license plates, driven by M.M. (38) from the village of Petrovo, Gevgelija, ran off the road. The driver sustained serious injuries in the accident, which were diagnosed at the Gevgelija Medical Center, and a team from the Gevgelija Internal Affairs Department inspected the scene.

On 20.01.2026 at 14:58 in the village of Jankovec, Resen region, police officers from the Resen Internal Affairs Department deprived A.G. (41) from the village of Jankovec of his liberty. During a traffic control, police officers determined that he was driving a passenger vehicle under the influence of alcohol, i.e. that he had 2.43 per mille of alcohol in his blood, after which he was immediately removed from traffic and detained at a police station. After fully documenting the event, a report will be filed against him under Article 297-a of the Criminal Code - "reckless driving of a motor vehicle".

On 20.01.2026, at the Gostivar Police Department, a 42-year-old man from Gostivar reported that he had been defrauded of the amount of 26,000 denars. According to the report, he received an SMS message with a link allegedly to the "Post of North Macedonia" to update data on the delivery of a package. As reported, believing that it was his previous order, he entered his payment card data on the fake website and shortly thereafter five transactions were made from his account to various entities, without his consent, after which he realized that he had been defrauded. Measures are being taken to clarify and document the case.

On 20.01.2026 at 09:28, the Kavadarci Internal Revenue Service reported that G.D. (29) from Negotino was brought to the Kavadarci General Hospital with serious bodily injury. According to the report, he sustained the injury while performing work tasks at a company in Kavadarci. The public prosecutor was notified of the event, and an inspection team from the Kavadarci Internal Revenue Service conducted an inspection in cooperation with a labor inspector.

On 20.01.2026, a 72-year-old man from Gostivar reported to the Gostivar Internal Revenue Service that his personal data had been misused. According to the report, when obtaining a certificate of income from the Public Revenue Office, he noticed that his file contained winnings from games of chance in the amount of 74,294 denars for 2024, which he never claimed. As reported, he suspects that employees of a sports betting shop used his ID card details to pay out winnings to third parties and because of these fictitious incomes he also faced financial cuts to his pension in Italy. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.

On 20.01.2026 at 09:30, the Kavadarci Police Department reported that N.T. (25) from the village of Dabnishte, Kavadarci, was brought to the Kavadarci General Hospital with serious bodily injuries. According to the report, he sustained the injury while performing work tasks for the Public Enterprise "Komunalec" on "Metodija Dzunov Dzikot" Street in Kavadarci. The public prosecutor and labor inspector were notified of the event.

On 20.01.2026 at 13:36 in the SVR Skopje, a 16-year-old from the village of Grchec, municipality of Saraj, reported that around 13:00, two males and three females came to the family home and physically attacked his brother D.G. (21) and his underage girlfriend, taking the underage girl with them and leaving. According to the report, two of them were the underage girl's parents. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.

On 21.01.2026 at 03:35 in the SVR Skopje, A.I. (67) from Skopje reported that around 01:30 in the family home in the Centar area, D.A. took his mobile phone by threatening him with a sharp object. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.

On 20.01.2026 at around 20:00, police officers from the SVR Skopje deprived K.A. (27) from the Skopje region of his liberty, acting on a previous report that at around 18:20 in the family home, he physically attacked his parents and threatened them with a sharp object. After fully documenting the case, an appropriate report will follow.
