(18) from the village of Stajkovci, Skopje region, and a minor from the village of Srbica, Kichevo region, of their liberty because a white powdery substance and marijuana were found and confiscated from them. After the cases are fully documented, appropriate charges will follow.
The External Office for Criminal Affairs Gostivar filed a criminal complaint against L.Ǵ. (39) and G.N. (42), both from Gostivar, due to the existence of grounds for suspicion of committing the criminal offense “unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors.” On 07.11.2025 in Gostivar, police officers conducted a search of the second suspect, during which cocaine was found and confiscated from him, which he had previously obtained from the first suspect.
On 18.05.2026 around 15:40, it was reported to the Skopje Internal Affairs Sector that in the village of Jurumleri, Skopje region, at the intersection of the regional road Skopje–Veles and the municipal road Jurumleri–Dolno Lisiche, a traffic accident occurred between a “Skoda” passenger vehicle with Skopje license plates, driven by M.I. (44) from Skopje, and a motorcycle with Skopje license plates, driven by M.P. (33) from the village of Idrizovo, Skopje region. In the accident, the motorcyclist sustained serious bodily injuries, confirmed at the “Mother Teresa” Clinic Complex in Skopje. An inspection was carried out by an inspection team from the Skopje Internal Affairs Sector.
The Kochani Police Department filed a criminal complaint against B.D. (23) from Kochani due to the existence of grounds for suspicion of committing the criminal offense “unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors.” On 18.08.2025, police officers conducted a search of a passenger vehicle and a search of the suspect’s home and auxiliary premises, during which marijuana was found and confiscated.
On 18.05.2026 at 10:40 at the “Skopje International Airport” border crossing, upon entry into the country, police officers deprived S.A. (64) from the Republic of Turkey of his liberty because, after border control and checks, it was established that he was listed with an “arrest” measure at the request of Interpol Germany. He was detained at a police station for further proceedings.
The Kochani Police Department filed a report against a 16-year-old from the village of Trkanje, Kochani region, due to the existence of grounds for suspicion of committing the criminal offense “endangering security.” On 13.03.2026 in the village of Orizari, Kochani region, after a prior argument, the suspect threatened M.D. (18) from the village of Orizari with a pistol.
On 19.05.2026 around 00:10, it was reported to the Gevgelija Police Department that on the regional road Bogdanci–Gevgelija, a “Fiat” passenger vehicle with Gevgelija license plates, driven by D.B. (50) from Bogdanci, went off the roadway. In the accident, the driver and his passenger S.P. (52) from Bogdanci sustained serious bodily injuries, confirmed at the Gevgelija Medical Center. An inspection was carried out by an inspection team from the Gevgelija Police Department.
The Kochani Police Department filed a criminal complaint against R.J. (27) from Kochani due to the existence of grounds for suspicion of committing the criminal offense “bodily injury.” On 26.04.2026, the suspect physically attacked his wife and caused her injuries.
On 18.05.2026 at 17:15 in Demir Kapija, police officers from the Demir Kapija Police Office deprived a 15-year-old from Demir Kapija of his liberty because marijuana was found and confiscated from him. The minor was detained at a police station, while a public prosecutor and the Negotino Center for Social Work were notified, and after the event is documented, an appropriate report will be filed.
On 18.05.2025 around 18:00 on “Dimitrie Chupovski” Street, before the start of a protest in front of the Ministry of Justice, police officers from the Skopje Internal Affairs Sector detained B.Ǵ. (28), R.A. (27), and S.D. (22), all from Skopje, because they disturbed public order and peace with a mutual physical confrontation. They were detained at a police station and, after the case is fully documented, appropriate charges will be filed against them.

On 18.05.2026 at the Petrovec Police Department, M.S. (74) from the village of Sushica, Municipality of Petrovec, reported that on 17.05.2026 at 20:30 near the village fountain, after a prior misunderstanding, he was physically attacked by B.B., A.B., and S.B. After the case is fully documented, an appropriate report will follow.
On 18.05.2026 at 11:40 in Veles, police officers from the Veles Internal Affairs Sector deprived I.V. (24) from Veles of his liberty. He is suspected of committing the criminal offense “aggravated theft” from a telecommunications operator’s base station in Veles. Part of the stolen property was found and returned to the owner. I.V. was detained at a police station, a public prosecutor was informed, and after the event is documented, an appropriate complaint will be filed.
The Kochani Police Department filed a criminal complaint against G.S. (52) from the village of Trkanje, Kochani region, due to the existence of grounds for suspicion of committing the criminal offense “endangering security.” On 10.02.2026 at a location called “Crvena Niva,” in the area of the village of Beli, Kochani region, the suspect behaved aggressively toward S.K. (79) because he had chased away his domestic animals that were grazing on his property, and then on 11.02.2026 made threats by telephone toward T.K. (53), the son of S.K.
On 19.05.2026 at 01:45, N.Š. (41) from the village of Kondovo, Skopje region, reported to the Skopje Internal Affairs Sector that on 18.05.2026 around 21:30 in front of his home, B.I. (18) physically attacked him, struck him with the butt of a pistol, and injured him. According to the report, earlier during the day his minor daughter had argued with another minor girl. After noticing that at the stated time B.I., together with another person, was holding his daughter by the neck, he attempted to stop them, after which B.I. attacked him with the butt of a pistol. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.
On 18.05.2026 at 12:46, it was reported to the Bitola Internal Affairs Sector that an explosive device had been found in a field in the village of Logovardi, Bitola region. A pyrotechnician from the Directorate for Protection and Rescue removed the explosive device and established that it was an artillery shell from the First World War. An inspection was carried out.
On 18.05.2026 at 19:15, O.S. (45) from Skopje reported to the Skopje Internal Affairs Sector that around 14:30 in a secondary school in the Karposh area, his 17-year-old daughter had been physically attacked by one of her classmates, who according to the report had been psychologically harassing her for a longer period. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.
On 18.05.2026 at 17:30, the Emergency Center at the “Mother Teresa” Clinic Complex in Skopje reported to the Skopje Internal Affairs Sector that S.J.T. (33) from Skopje had been brought to them with serious bodily injuries. According to the report, she sustained the injuries around 13:30 at her workplace at the Chair Gynecology and Obstetrics Hospital in Skopje after falling down stairs. A labor inspector was informed about the incident.
