(35) from Veles due to the existence of grounds for suspicion of committing the criminal offense “embezzlement.” On 26/27.12.2025, at her workplace as a cashier in a private company from Skopje, the suspect took part of the money from the cash register entrusted to her, thereby gaining unlawful material benefit in the amount of 212,000 denars.

On 18.02.2026 at 07:00, the Gostivar Police Station received a report that on the regional road Gostivar–village of Gradec, specifically in the village of Debreshe, a passenger vehicle “Citroën” with Gostivar registration plates, driven by A.A.Sh. (35) from Debreshe, struck a utility pole. In the accident, A.A.Sh. sustained serious bodily injuries, confirmed at the “Mother Teresa” Clinical Complex in Skopje. On 18.02.2026 at 11:15, the Kruševo Police Station received a report that a traffic accident occurred on “Miše Eftim” Street in Kruševo, in which a passenger vehicle “Opel” with Skopje registration plates, driven by P.P. (36) from Prilep, struck pedestrian S.A. (54) from Kruševo. After the accident, S.A. was transported to the General Hospital “Borka Taleski” in Prilep, where serious bodily injuries were confirmed by a doctor. On 18.02.2026 at 16:20, at the Tabanovce Border Crossing, upon entry into the country, police officers deprived B.Z. (38) from Kosovo of liberty after it was determined during border and passport control that he had presented a forged driver’s license. The Department for Internal Control, Criminal Investigations and Professional Standards within the Ministry of Internal Affairs filed a criminal complaint with the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office Skopje against Gj.K. due to the existence of grounds for suspicion of committing the criminal offense “reckless driving of a motor vehicle,” punishable under Article 297-a paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code. The suspect, employed as a police officer in the Department for Protection of Certain Persons and Facilities, on 06.02.2026 on “Dame Gruev” Street in Skopje, drove a passenger vehicle “Seat Altea” without having passed a driving exam and without possessing a driver’s license, failing to comply with traffic safety regulations and driving in a reckless manner. On 18.02.2026 at 16:15 on “Ilindenska” Street in Tetovo, police officers from the Tetovo Sector for Internal Affairs apprehended R.M. (51) from Tetovo. He was wanted under a court order to serve a prison sentence for a criminal offense under Article 284-a of the Criminal Code. He was transferred to the Tetovo Prison to serve his sentence.
On 18.02.2026 at 15:00 at the Tetovo Sector for Internal Affairs, a 55-year-old man from a village in the municipality of Želino reported that he had been defrauded by S.R. from the village of Kamenjane, municipality of Bogovinje. According to the report, during 2024 S.R. promised the victim to mediate in obtaining social assistance and a social apartment, for which the victim paid a total of 4,200 euros in several installments. After some time, the services were not provided and the money was not returned, after which the victim realized he had been deceived. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.
On 19.02.2026 at 02:45 in Skopje, in the area of Kisela Voda, police officers from the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs deprived I.Sh. (20), A.G. (19), and H.S. (20), all from Sudan, of liberty, acting upon a prior report by a 27-year-old man from Skopje that during the period from 01:30 to 02:30 in Kisela Voda they demanded money from him and physically attacked him. (43) from the village of Bulachani, Skopje region, reported that in the village of Creshevo, following a prior argument in a hospitality establishment, he was physically attacked by several persons who inflicted serious bodily injuries on him, confirmed at the “Mother Teresa” Clinical Complex in Skopje. On 17.02.2026 at 07:30, police officers from the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs apprehended a 17-year-old from Skopje, acting upon a prior report that on a public transport bus operated by the Public Transport Enterprise, in the area of Kisela Voda in Skopje, together with several other persons, he physically attacked D.B. (18) and B.J. (18), both from Skopje. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.
On 18.02.2026 at 15:50 in the area of Kisela Voda in Skopje, police officers apprehended S.P. (61) from Skopje for behaving aggressively toward employees of a sports betting shop and toward police officers performing official duties. During the measures taken, it was determined that he was under the influence of alcohol, with 2.90 per mille of alcohol in his blood. (40) from Skopje and S.V. (51) from Kriva Palanka, and then, using threats, forced his 44-year-old former partner into a passenger vehicle and physically assaulted her.
