SVR Skopje filed a criminal complaint against H.V. (19) from Skopje due to grounds of suspicion of committing the criminal offense of “unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors.” On 15.10.2025 in Skopje, police officers carried out a search of the suspect, during which marijuana and cannabis oil were found and seized.
SVR Tetovo filed a criminal complaint against Z.D. (27), V.M. (28), E.D. (26), and J.T. (21), all from Tetovo, due to grounds of suspicion of committing the criminal offense of “violence.” On 15.12.2025, in front of a hospitality establishment in Tetovo, following prior misunderstandings on a social network, the suspects physically assaulted S.R. (33) and R.U. (18), both from the Tetovo area.
SVR Strumica – OVR Radovish filed a criminal complaint against B.A. (41) from Skopje and N.K. (31) from Radovish due to grounds of suspicion of committing the criminal offense of “usury.” During August 2025, S.S. requested a loan of 1,000 euros from the first suspect, agreeing to return it within one month with interest of 200 euros, leaving a passenger vehicle as collateral, while the second suspect acted as an intermediary. After the one-month period expired, as S.S. was unable to repay the loan, the first suspect calculated and demanded disproportionate financial gain in the form of interest.
SVR Tetovo filed a criminal complaint against M.N. (60) from the village of Selce, Tetovo region, due to grounds of suspicion of committing the criminal offense of “evasion of excise payment.” On 29.11.2025, in the area of SVR Tetovo, a passenger vehicle “Volkswagen Golf” driven by the suspect was stopped. During inspection, a larger quantity of tobacco products subject to excise duty was found, for which he did not provide documentation for paid excise or proof of origin of the goods.
On 17/18.02.2026 in Skopje, at different locations, police officers from SVR Skopje deprived B.J. (28), M.N. (33), D.P. (38), A.Љ. (36), and N.G. (28), all from Skopje, of their liberty because marijuana was found and seized from them. After full documentation of the cases, appropriate charges will follow.
On 17.02.2026 at 20:00, it was reported to SVR Tetovo that on the local road Tetovo – village Trebosh, 40-year-old Z.M. from Trebosh, while driving a “Golf” with Tetovo license plates, left the roadway and struck a metal fence. In the accident, Z.M. sustained serious bodily injuries, confirmed at the Clinical Hospital Tetovo. An on-site inspection was conducted by an SVR Tetovo investigation team.
On 17.02.2026, SVR Skopje received a report that at 15:20 on the local road village Kucheviste – village Kuchevishka Bara, a traffic accident occurred between a “Ford Fiesta” with Skopje plates driven by V.P. (65) from Skopje and a “Volkswagen Golf” with Skopje plates driven by Ž.S. (57) from village Kucheviste. The driver of the “Ford,” V.P., died at the scene, and an emergency doctor confirmed the death. The driver of the “Volkswagen Golf,” Ž.S., sustained bodily injuries, confirmed at the “Mother Teresa” Clinical Complex in Skopje. By order of a public prosecutor, the body of the deceased was sent for autopsy, and an on-site inspection was carried out by an SVR Skopje investigation team.
On 17.02.2026 at 19:30, it was reported to OVR Gostivar that on a local road in the village of Gradec, Gostivar area, a passenger vehicle “Opel Corsa” driven by N.A. (30) from Dobridol left the roadway. In the accident, passenger Dž.Sh. (31) from Dobridol sustained serious bodily injuries, confirmed at the Medical Center Gostivar. By order of a public prosecutor, an on-site inspection was conducted by OVR Gostivar.
On 17.02.2026 at 10:10, SVR Tetovo received a report that in a factory in Tetovo, while performing work duties, B.N. (46) from Tetovo sustained serious bodily injuries. He was transported to a private hospital in Skopje for medical assistance. An on-site inspection was conducted by SVR Tetovo officers and an inspector from the State Labor Inspectorate.
OVR Struga filed a criminal complaint against C.O. (23) from the village of Veleshta, Struga region, due to grounds of suspicion of committing the criminal offense of “unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors.” With a court order, police officers searched the suspect’s home and found and seized marijuana.
On 18.02.2026 at 02:00 near the Demir Kapija toll station, police officers from OVR Negotino deprived R.S. (36) from the USA of his liberty. During a traffic control, officers stopped a “Škoda” with Skopje license plates driven by R.S., who presented a vehicle registration and driver’s license but refused to provide a personal identification document and physically assaulted the police officers performing official duties. The public prosecutor was informed and, after documentation of the case, appropriate charges will follow.
On 17.02.2026 at 09:45, an 18-year-old from the Demir Kapija area reported to OVR Negotino that in October or November 2025, a male person in Negotino took and photographed his ID card under the pretext that it was needed for a church package distribution procedure for which he would receive payment. However, he was never called to distribute packages nor received money, and he suspects his ID card was misused to obtain a loan from a financial company. He later received a letter requesting repayment of a loan of 215,731 denars taken in his name, which he suspects was obtained through misuse of his ID card. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.
