(35) from Vinica, on reasonable grounds of suspicion that he committed the criminal offenses of “use of a document containing false information” and “forgery of a document.” On June 14, 2026, on Bregalnička Street in Shtip, police officers checked the individual's documents and determined that he had presented a forged driver's license for inspection.
The Kočani Department of Internal Affairs (OVR Kočani) filed a criminal complaint against P.P. (27) from Kočani, on reasonable grounds of suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of “endangering safety.” On September 4, 2026, the reported individual sent E.Đ. a message containing threatening content via a social media application.
The Struga External Office for Criminal Affairs filed a criminal complaint against M.D. (49) from Struga, on reasonable grounds of suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of “endangering safety.” On September 7, 2026, at the family home, the reported individual made threats against his 78-year-old father and threw household objects around.
On September 16/17, 2026, at various locations in Skopje, police officers from SVR Skopje arrested A.M. (40), H.O. (19), and E.J. (28), all from Skopje, after powdered substances, marijuana, and a white powdery substance were found and confiscated from them. Following the completion of the documentation of the cases, appropriate charges will be filed.
On September 16, 2026, at 3:00 p.m., in the Potok neighborhood of Tetovo, police officers from SVR Tetovo arrested N.M. (42) from Shtip, on reasonable grounds of suspicion that she committed the criminal offense of “theft” under Article 235 of the Criminal Code. She is suspected of having taken money from the wallet of N.H. (64) from Tetovo on September 14, 2026, at his workplace in a parking area in Tetovo. The individual was detained at a police station and, following documentation of the case, appropriate charges will be filed against her.
During the past 24 hours, at various locations throughout the country, police officers arrested five drivers for committing the criminal offense of “reckless driving” under Article 297-a of the Criminal Code. Four of them were driving without having passed a driver's examination: V.N. (29) and H.I. (20), both from Skopje; N.N. (20) from Kavadarci; and R.T. (20) from Kumanovo. Meanwhile, L.F., a 56-year-old woman from Skopje, was driving under the influence of alcohol and caused two traffic accidents. On September 16, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., the Ohrid Sector for Internal Affairs received a report that a traffic accident had occurred on the Ohrid–St. Naum regional road between a Mercedes passenger vehicle with Skopje registration plates, driven by D.J. (87) from Skopje, and a BMW motorcycle with Struga registration plates, driven by H.P. (29) from the village of Misleshevo, Struga area. The motorcyclist sustained serious bodily injuries, which were confirmed at the “St. Erasmus” Special Hospital in Ohrid. An on-site inspection was carried out by an SVR Ohrid inspection team.
On September 16, 2026, at 10:35 p.m., in the village of Dolno Palčište, Tetovo area, police officers from the Kamenjane Police Department arrested B.J. (37) from the village of Bogovinje, Tetovo area, after a white powdery substance was found on him during a search. He was detained at a police station and, following documentation of the case, appropriate charges will be filed against him.
On September 16, 2026, at approximately 11:20 a.m., the Struga Department of Internal Affairs received a report that on Dimitar Vlahov Street in Struga, a Fiat Doblo cargo vehicle with Struga registration plates, driven by 30-year-old A.S. from Struga, struck 76-year-old V.P. from Struga. V.P. sustained serious bodily injuries, which were confirmed at the Struga Medical Center. An on-site inspection was carried out by an OVR Struga inspection team.
At 5:50 p.m. on September 16, 2026, a 60-year-old woman from Gostivar reported that at approximately 4:00 p.m. in Gostivar, her brother-in-law R.M. physically attacked her and her husband L.M. Measures are being taken to clarify the circumstances of the incident.
The Bitola Sector for Internal Affairs filed a criminal complaint against A.C. (52) from Bitola, on reasonable grounds of suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of “theft.” Between August 14, 2026, and September 1, 2026, the reported individual stole money from the family home of S.T.
The Kavadarci Department of Internal Affairs filed a criminal complaint against R.N. (70) from Kavadarci, on reasonable grounds of suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of “damaging and unauthorized access to computer systems.” The reported individual had previously found someone else's wallet and, on August 5, 2026, without the owner's permission or consent, used the payment card and made four transactions, thereby obtaining unlawful financial gain amounting to 3,729 denars.

(27) from the Negotino area, on reasonable grounds of suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of “damaging and unauthorized access to computer systems.” On September 7, 2026, the reported individual found a bank debit card, after which, without the owner's permission or consent, he used it and made three successful transactions, thereby obtaining unlawful financial gain amounting to 3,645 denars.
The Gostivar External Office for Criminal Affairs filed a criminal complaint against D.J. (46) from Gostivar, on reasonable grounds of suspicion that she committed the criminal offense of “violence against a child.” On May 20, 2026, in Gostivar, the reported individual physically attacked a minor.
The Kratovo Department of Internal Affairs filed a criminal complaint against P.J. (40) from Kratovo, on reasonable grounds of suspicion that he committed the criminal offenses of “endangering safety” and “assaulting an official while performing security duties.” On September 11, 2026, the reported individual threatened police officers and employees of the Center for Social Work while they were carrying out official duties, after which he inflicted serious bodily injuries on one police officer with a sharp object.
The Radoviš Department of Internal Affairs filed a criminal complaint against Š.M. (24) from the village of Bansko, Strumica area, on reasonable grounds of suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of “unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors.” On February 22, 2026, police officers found and confiscated marijuana in the vicinity of the reported individual.
The Struga Department of Internal Affairs filed a criminal complaint against M.D. (49) from Struga, on reasonable grounds of suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of “endangering safety” under Article 144 of the Criminal Code. On September 7, 2026, at the family home, the reported individual, who was under the influence of alcohol, behaved aggressively and threatened his parents, after which he damaged part of the household property.
On September 16, 2026, at 5:00 p.m., in Čaška, police officers from the Čaška Police Department arrested N.D. (28) from Čaška, acting on a prior report that he had physically attacked his 26-year-old common-law partner at their home. He was taken to a police station, the public prosecutor was notified, and following the complete clarification and documentation of the incident, an appropriate complaint will be filed.
On September 17, 2026, at 3:10 a.m., in a nightclub in the Karpoš area of Skopje, police officers arrested A.B. (24) from Belgium because a package containing plant material was found and confiscated during a search of him. Following the completion of the documentation of the case, appropriate charges will be filed.
On September 16, 2026, at approximately 8:05 a.m., SVR Skopje received a report that a fire had broken out in a house in the Centar area that had been unoccupied for a longer period of time and was owned by Đ.M. (60). The fire was extinguished by the Skopje Fire Protection Brigade, and no persons were injured. An on-site inspection was carried out.
On September 16, 2026, at 4:50 p.m., V.K. (78) from Skopje reported to SVR Skopje that at approximately 2:30 p.m., in the Đorče Petrov area, an individual used physical force to steal her mobile phone. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.
On September 16, 2026, at approximately 9:00 p.m., SVR Skopje received a report that, in the yard of a primary school in the Đorče Petrov area, following a previous argument, a minor was physically attacked by several other minors, one of whom he knew, and sustained serious bodily injuries. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.
On September 16, 2026, at approximately 11:40 a.m., SVR Skopje received a report that in the village of Studeničani, Skopje area, in the yard of a house owned by A.S. (56), H.B. (35) from the village of Studeničani came and took a pressure washer to wash his vehicle, after which he fell, apparently due to an electric shock. H.B. was transported by an Emergency Medical Service vehicle to the “Mother Teresa” Clinical Complex, where he died. A doctor confirmed his death, and on the instructions of a public prosecutor, the body of the deceased was handed over to forensic medicine for an autopsy.
On September 16, 2026, at 8:30 p.m., in a sports hall in the Aerodrom municipality of Skopje, police officers from SVR Skopje detained M.K. (24) and I.S. (30), both from Skopje, because they committed a misdemeanor under the Law on Prevention of Violence and Improper Conduct at Sports Events, namely, they physically fought while a handball match was taking place. Following the completion of the documentation of the case, an appropriate report will be filed.
