Excerpt from the Daily Events Report 16 .09. 2026

The Gostivar External Office for Criminal Affairs filed a criminal complaint against S.F. (25) from the village of Rostushe, Municipality of Mavrovo and Rostushe, on reasonable suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of “Unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors.” On October 4, 2025, police officers conducted a search of a passenger vehicle, a Volkswagen Golf, during which marijuana was found and confiscated from the reported individual, who was a passenger in the vehicle.

The Berovo External Office for Criminal Affairs filed a criminal complaint against M.M. (25), B.M. (47), and A.M. (45), all from Pehchevo, on reasonable suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of “Grievous bodily injury.” On August 30, 2026, at the City Square in Berovo, the reported individuals physically attacked A.M.H., inflicting grievous bodily injuries on him.

The Gostivar External Office for Criminal Affairs filed a criminal complaint against R.M. (62) from Gostivar, on reasonable suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of “Bodily injury.” On August 25, 2026, at the family home, the reported individual physically assaulted his 35-year-old common-law wife.

The Veles Sector for Internal Affairs filed a criminal complaint against M.V. (51) from the Negotino area, on reasonable suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of “Unauthorized manufacture, possession, mediation and trafficking in weapons or explosive substances.” On December 29, 2025, police officers conducted a search of the reported individual’s home, during which 537 pieces of pyrotechnic devices were found and confiscated.

On September 15/16, 2026, in Skopje, police officers from the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs arrested V.P. (23), M.A. (28), and S.P. (50), all from Skopje, as well as M.G. (34) from the village of Indzhikovo, Skopje area, after white powdery matter, white lump-like matter, and marijuana were found and confiscated from them. Following the complete documentation of the cases, appropriate reports will be filed.

The Kichevo External Office for Criminal Affairs filed a criminal complaint against S.S. (25) from Kichevo, on reasonable suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of “Unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors” under Article 215 of the Criminal Code. During a traffic inspection of a Mercedes passenger vehicle in which she was being transported, police officers noticed S.S. throwing a package containing marijuana out of the vehicle window. The marijuana was subsequently found and confiscated.

On September 15, 2026, at 11:30 p.m., on Orde Tuteski Street in Prilep, police officers from the Prilep External Office for Criminal Affairs arrested F.I. (25) from Prilep after marijuana was found on him during a search. Following the documentation of the incident, an appropriate report will be filed.

The Ohrid Sector for Internal Affairs filed a criminal complaint against H.B. (27) from Ohrid, on reasonable suspicion of having committed the criminal offenses of “Unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors” and “Obstruction of evidence.” During a search of his home, conducted pursuant to a court order, criminal police officers found marijuana, which he had previously attempted to destroy in order to prevent evidence of the criminal offense from being secured.

On September 15, 2026, at 10:45 p.m., on Ilindenska Street in Gostivar, police officers from the Gostivar External Office for Criminal Affairs arrested B.A. (29) from the village of Chegrane, Gostivar area, after white powdery matter was found and confiscated from him during a search. Following the complete documentation of the case, an appropriate report will be filed against him.

The Struga External Office for Criminal Affairs filed a criminal complaint against N.D. (26) from the Struga village of Koroshishta, on reasonable suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of “Unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors.” During a check and search conducted in the Plitishta neighborhood of Struga, criminal police officers from the Struga External Office for Criminal Affairs found and confiscated marijuana from him.

On September 15, 2026, at 11:30 p.m., in a village in the Gostivar area, police officers from the Gostivar External Office for Criminal Affairs arrested B.K. (52) from the village, acting on a prior report from his 40-year-old wife that, following a brief argument at the family home, he had poured hot coffee over her, causing burns. He was detained at a police station, and following the documentation of the case, an appropriate report will be filed.

The Debar External Office for Criminal Affairs filed a criminal complaint against U.K. (42) from the village of Novak, Municipality of Centar Zhupa, on reasonable suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of “Violence against a child” under Article 201-a of the Criminal Code. On August 10, 2026, in the village, he intercepted a group of minors and physically assaulted one of them.

On September 15, 2026, at 9:10 p.m., police officers from the Kumanovo Sector for Internal Affairs arrested D.S. (46) from Kumanovo because he behaved aggressively toward his 24-year-old son and threatened him. He was taken to a police station and, following the complete documentation of the case, an appropriate report will be filed against him.

During the past 24 hours, at various locations throughout the country, police officers arrested eight drivers for committing the criminal offense of “Reckless driving” under Article 297-a of the Criminal Code. Of these, five individuals were driving without having passed a driving test: B.R. (55) from the village of Saraj, Skopje area; M.S. (29) from the village of Petrovec, Skopje area; I.M. (51) from the village of Rankovce; E.E. (19) from the village of Desovo, Prilep area; and a 17-year-old from the village of Buzalkovo, Veles area, who, while riding the motorcycle he was driving, struck a three-year-old child.

Two individuals were driving despite an active Category B driving ban: D.B. (37) from Kumanovo and B.S. (54) from Bogdanci, who, in addition to violating the driving ban, was also driving under the influence of alcohol. J.A. (56) from the village of Dulica, Municipality of Makedonska Kamenica, was also arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. Following the complete documentation of the cases, appropriate criminal complaints will be filed.

On September 15, 2026, at 8:00 p.m., police officers from the Strumica Sector for Internal Affairs, acting under a court order, conducted a search of the home of A.T. (49) from Vasilevo. During the search, a cannabis plant was found. Following the complete documentation of the case, a criminal complaint will be filed against the individual under Article 215 of the Criminal Code.

On September 15, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., police officers from the Gevgelija Police Station arrested Z.M. (40) from the village of Marvinci, Gevgelija area. During a search of his cadastral plots, conducted pursuant to a court order, a cannabis plant was found. Following the complete documentation of the incident, an appropriate report will be filed.

On September 15, 2026, at 9:00 p.m., a 74-year-old man from Vinica reported that he had been physically assaulted at his family home by his son, M.J. (51), from Vinica. A public prosecutor was notified of the incident, and following its complete documentation, an appropriate report will be filed.

On September 15, 2026, at approximately 10:20 p.m., D.B. (49) from Skopje reported to the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs that, in the Gorno Lisiche neighborhood, his minor son and his friends had been attacked by several other minors. One of the attackers, whom they knew, used a sharp object to take a bag from his son containing a wallet, mobile phone, and other items. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.

On September 15, 2026, at approximately 3:00 p.m., a 38-year-old man reported to the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs that, at his home in the Drachevo area, his wife, D.R., with whom he was in divorce proceedings, physically assaulted him and then threatened him with a sharp object. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.

On September 15, 2026, at approximately 5:05 p.m., the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs received a report that a fire had broken out in the rear section of a JSP bus at a bus stop in the Centar area. The fire was extinguished by the driver and the Skopje Fire Protection Brigade. There were no injuries; all passengers safely exited the bus.

On September 15, 2026, at 1:20 p.m., S.M. (27) from Skopje reported to the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs that a woman carrying a sharp object had entered the retail premises in the Radishani neighborhood where she worked and had threatened her and one of her female colleagues. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.
