(18), all from Skopje, and J.O. (31) from the Republic of Türkiye, after marijuana, a white powdery substance and a brown powdery substance were found and seized from them. Following the complete documentation of the cases, appropriate charges will be filed against them.
On 13 September 2026 at 04:30, in Kavadarci, police officers from the Kavadarci Police Department detained P.M. (27) from Kavadarci, following a report that he had behaved aggressively in a casino in Kavadarci, after which security personnel removed him from the premises. He failed to comply with the orders of police officers who were carrying out official duties and insulted them. Following measures taken and checks carried out, it was established that he was under the influence of alcohol, with 2.42 per mille of alcohol in his blood. P.M. was detained at a police station and, following the documentation of the incident, an appropriate charge will be filed against him.
On 12 September 2026 at 12:23, a traffic accident was reported to the Bitola Internal Affairs Sector at the intersection of Solunska Street, Dimo Hadzi Popov Street and Mihajlo Bojadziev Street in Bitola, involving a passenger vehicle, a Mercedes with Bitola registration plates, driven by D.K. (26) from Bitola, and a motorcycle with Bitola registration plates, driven by T.L. (22) from the village of Kravari, Bitola. Following the accident, the motorcycle rider was transported to the Bitola Clinical Hospital, where a doctor diagnosed him with serious bodily injuries. An inspection was carried out by an inspection team from the Bitola Internal Affairs Sector.
On 12 September 2026 at 08:30, police officers from the Jegunovce Police Department arrested a 59-year-old man from the village of Jegunovce. Previously, at 08:10, his 59-year-old wife had reported that, during the morning hours at their family home, the man had behaved aggressively and verbally insulted her while visibly intoxicated. A breathalyzer test showed 0.87 per mille of alcohol in his blood. He was detained at the Tetovo Police Station for the complete clarification and documentation of the case, after which an appropriate charge will be filed.
On 12 September 2026 at 15:15, police officers from the Galate Police Department arrested a 30-year-old resident of the village of Negotino on reasonable suspicion of committing the criminal offence of “Endangering Safety”. Previously, at 13:25, his 67-year-old father had reported at the Galate Police Department that his son had made serious threats against him. The person was detained at the Gostivar Police Station for further proceedings.
On 12 September 2026 at 15:30, on Borche Kochovski Street in Tetovo, police officers from the Tetovo Internal Affairs Sector arrested a 48-year-old man from Tetovo on reasonable suspicion of committing the criminal offence of “Bodily Injury” in the context of domestic violence (Article 130 of the Criminal Code). The incident was reported at 14:20 by his 41-year-old wife, who stated that on 4 September 2026, at around 10:00, following a verbal argument at their home, he had physically assaulted her. On 12 September 2026 at 21:00, on Lenin Street in Tetovo, police officers from the Tetovo Internal Affairs Sector arrested a 43-year-old man from Tetovo. That same evening at 22:00, his 67-year-old father reported that at around 20:30, following a verbal argument at their family home, his son had become aggressive, insulted him and made threats against him. A breathalyzer test established the presence of 1.05 per mille of alcohol in his blood. He was detained at a police station for further proceedings.
On 13 September 2026 at 01:30, in the village of Kamenjane, police officers from the Kamenjane Police Department arrested B.I. (39) from the village of Kamenjane. During a search of the person, a bag containing a white powdery substance was found and seized. Following the complete documentation of the case, an appropriate charge will be filed against him.
On 12 September 2026 at 23:00, on Partizanska Street in Bitola, police officers from the Bitola Internal Affairs Sector arrested D.J. (39) and G.N. (37), both from Bitola, after marijuana was found during a search of D.J. Following the documentation of the incident, an appropriate charge will be filed.
On 12 September 2028 at 22:45, on 27 April Street in Struga, D.T. (44) and M.B. (47), both from Struga, were arrested. Police officers from the Criminal Police Unit of the Struga Police Department found and seized a package containing a brown powdery substance during a search of D.T. During a search of M.B.’s home, carried out pursuant to a court order, aluminium foil containing a brown powdery substance and a digital metal scale were found and seized. Following the complete documentation of the incident, appropriate charges will be filed against them.
On 12 September 2026 at 07:30, on the regional road between the Struga villages of Veleshta and Vranishta, a traffic accident occurred involving two passenger vehicles, both Volkswagen Golfs with Struga registration plates. One was driven by F.B. (36) from the village of Labunista, and the other by E.K. (54), near the village of Veleshta. Both drivers sustained serious bodily injuries, which were confirmed at the St. Erasmus Hospital in Ohrid, as did E.B. (27) from Labunista, a passenger in the first vehicle. Police teams carried out an inspection at the scene.

On 12 September 2026 at 17:00, the Skopje Internal Affairs Sector was informed by Idrizovo Prison that a fire had broken out in an abandoned building near the institution. During the fire, a falling beam damaged a parked passenger vehicle, an Audi with Skopje registration plates, owned by S.B. The fire was extinguished by the Fire Protection Brigade. There were no injuries. Police officers from the Skopje Internal Affairs Sector conducted an inspection at the scene.
On 12 September 2026 at around 17:15, the Skopje Internal Affairs Sector was informed that, on the road from the Blace Border Crossing towards Skopje, at a location known as Vrazhji Vir, police officers from the Regional Centre for Border Affairs – North, Operational Police and Criminal Matters, noticed a Volkswagen Transporter with foreign registration plates loaded with various smuggled goods and attempted to stop it, but the vehicle continued driving. After the police officers stopped the vehicle shortly afterwards, as they attempted to detain the driver, another vehicle arrived. One person got out of the vehicle and physically attacked one of the police officers. One of the persons then grabbed the officer by the arm, and he was dragged by the vehicle driven by the other person. The officer was subsequently released and sustained injuries in the fall. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.
On 12 September 2026 at around 17:30, the Strumica Internal Affairs Sector was informed that a fire had broken out in a building in the village of Kolesino. The fire was extinguished by the Strumica Territorial Firefighting Unit. There were no injuries. An inspection will be carried out.
On 12 September 2026 at 11:15, A.S. (72) reported to the Nov Dojran Police Department that he had been physically assaulted by P.I. (66). Measures are being taken to clarify the case.

A doctor confirmed the death. An inspection was carried out and, upon the instructions of a public prosecutor, the deceased’s body was handed over for autopsy.

(43) from Radovish reported to the Strumica Internal Affairs Sector that at around 04:15, while he was at his family home, L.Z., N.T. and D.T., all from Radovish, had forcibly entered the home, behaved aggressively and made threats against him.
