On 11 September 2026 at 08:25 hrs, it was reported to the Prilep Police Station that a traffic accident had occurred at the intersection of Mirche Acev Street and Trajko Tarcan Street in Prilep, involving a Peugeot passenger vehicle with Prilep registration plates, driven by V.T. (72) from Prilep, which collided with a cyclist, K.D. (51) from Prilep. Following the accident, the cyclist was transported to Prilep City Hospital, where a doctor determined that she had sustained serious bodily injuries. An inspection was carried out by a team from the Prilep Police Station.
On 12 September 2026 at 05:00 hrs in Resen, on Mite Bogoевski Street, police officers from the Resen Police Station arrested T.N. (27) from Resen, D.A. (26) from the village of Zlatari, Resen, and S.T. (21) from the village of Izbishta, Resen, after marijuana was found during a search of T.N. and D.A. Following the documentation of the case, appropriate charges will be filed.
On 11 September 2026 at 19:00 hrs, on Proleterski Brigadi Street in Struga, L.R. (25) from Struga was arrested. During a search conducted by police officers from the Criminal Police Unit of the Struga Police Station, marijuana was found and seized from him. Following the full documentation of the case, appropriate charges will be filed against him.
On 11 September 2026 at 22:55 hrs, a traffic accident involving two passenger vehicles occurred on the Gostivar–Strazha main road. One vehicle, a Golf with Gostivar registration plates, was driven by A.I. (34) from the village of Chegrane, with H.K. (28) from Gostivar as a passenger. The other vehicle, a Golf with Tetovo registration plates, was driven by D.N. (21) from Tetovo, with F.J. (21) from Tetovo as a passenger. A doctor from the Emergency Medical Service pronounced driver D.N. dead at the scene, while the other three persons were transported to the Medical Centre in Gostivar, where they were diagnosed with bodily injuries. An inspection was carried out by a public prosecutor and an inspection team from the Gostivar Police Station.
On 11 September 2026 at 14:55 hrs, at a place known as Zhirovnichko Anche, a traffic accident occurred in which a moped with Bitola registration plates, driven by G.R. (55) from Bitola, ran off the road. The driver sustained serious bodily injuries, which were confirmed at the Emergency Centre in Gostivar, after which he was referred to the Mother Teresa Clinical Centre Complex in Skopje. An inspection was carried out by a team from the Gostivar Police Station.
On 11 September 2026 at 20:50 hrs, a 40-year-old woman from Veles reported to the Veles Police Department that, at their home, her minor son had physically assaulted and threatened her. A public prosecutor and the Veles Centre for Social Work were notified. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.

On 11 September 2026 at 23:20 hrs, in front of a catering establishment in the village of Bogovinje, police officers arrested N.S. (32) from the village of Zdunje, who was driving a BMW passenger vehicle with Swiss registration plates. During the search, a bag containing a white powdery substance was found on him, following which he was arrested. He was detained at a police station for further proceedings and, following the documentation of the case, appropriate charges will be filed against him.

On 11 September 2026 at 18:30 hrs, on 18 Noemvri Street in Gostivar, police officers arrested I.P. (68) from Gostivar. He had been reported by his 65-year-old wife, who stated that at around 15:00 hrs that day, at their family home, he had physically assaulted her, damaged her mobile phone and verbally threatened her when she came to the police station to report the incident. He was detained at a police station and, following the full documentation of the case, appropriate charges will be filed.
On 11 September 2026 at 23:45 hrs, police officers from the Tetovo Police Department arrested Sh.A. (51) from the village of Rakovec. Previously, R.A. (46) from the Philippines, with temporary residence in Krushevo, had reported that on 1 September 2026, following a brief argument in their shared apartment in Tetovo, Sh.A. had physically assaulted her and caused her bodily injury. He was detained at a police station and, following the full documentation of the case, appropriate charges will be filed.
On 11 September 2026 at 21:20 hrs in Skopje, in the Kisela Voda area, police officers from the Skopje Police Department arrested S.N. (50) from Skopje after a white, lumpy substance was found and seized from him. Following the full documentation of the cases, appropriate charges will be filed against the persons involved.
On 12 September 2026 at around 02:10 hrs, a traffic accident was reported to the Skopje Police Department on the local road between the village of Ilinden and the village of Miladinovci, near the Brest base. The accident involved an Opel Corsa passenger vehicle with Kumanovo registration plates, driven by F.T. (19) from the village of Agino Selo, Kumanovo, and a Hyundai passenger vehicle with Skopje registration plates, driven by A.A. (51) from the village of Marino, Skopje. The driver A.A. and his 17-year-old passenger from the village of Marino died at the scene. Their deaths were confirmed by a doctor from the Emergency Medical Service. The driver F.T., his passenger D.B. (19) from the village of Agino Selo, and a 17-year-old female passenger from the Hyundai sustained serious bodily injuries, which were confirmed at the Mother Teresa Clinical Centre Complex. An inspection was carried out by a public prosecutor and an inspection team from the Skopje Police Department. By order of the public prosecutor, the bodies of the deceased were handed over to the Institute of Forensic Medicine for autopsy.
The Skopje Police Department filed criminal charges against E.Q. (26) and A.A. (25), both from Skopje, on reasonable grounds for suspicion of committing the criminal offence of “extortion”. On 5 August 2026, at a catering establishment in the Chento area of Skopje, the suspects allegedly threatened a person in order to extort money over a non-existent debt.
