On 03.03.2026 at 15:50, the SVR Skopje received a report that on the Skopje - Tetovo bypass, near the Mirkovci interchange, a passenger vehicle "BMW" with Skopje license plates, driven by R.P. (44) from the village of Saraj, Skopje region, had run off the road. The driver R.P. died at the scene of the accident, and a doctor from the Emergency Medical Service declared him dead. A pyrotechnician from the Bitola Directorate for Protection and Rescue picked up the explosive device and determined that it was a hand grenade dating back to the First World War.
On 03.03.2026 at 16:30 in Delčevo, police officers from the Delčevo Internal Affairs Department deprived S.V. (49) from Delčevo of his liberty. According to the report, at around 15:00 he went to the home of M.K. (37) from Delčevo and, due to unresolved debtor-creditor relations, behaved aggressively towards his unmarried 35-year-old wife, after which he took a television and keys from the house by force. The confiscated items were found and returned to the owners, and after fully documenting the case, an appropriate report will be filed against S.V.
On 04.03.2026 at 00:40, police officers from the Veles Internal Affairs Department deprived M.R. (22) from Veles of his liberty. He is suspected of using a suitable tool to enter the home of a 35-year-old woman from Veles and take various items. Part of the stolen items was found and returned to the owner, and after the event is fully documented, an appropriate report will be filed.
On 03.03.2026 at 20:20 at the SVR Skopje, U.Sh. (65) from Skopje reported that at around 18:55 two people came to a building in the Aerodrom municipality, one of whom threatened him with a sharp object, but nothing was taken from him. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.
