The one-year training of 660 candidates for future police officers has begun.

From today (07.10.2015), at the Training Center for personnel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Idrizovo, a one-year training program began for 660 candidates for police officers. These candidates were selected following the announcement for the recruitment of 600 police officers, which was published on July 10, 2015.

As is known, around 3,000 candidates applied for the competition announced on 10.07.2015 for the recruitment of 600 police officer positions. The candidates were selected after completing several stages of evaluations based on ranking. These included physical fitness tests, psycho-educational assessments, and health examinations. Contracts for basic police training lasting one year, starting from 07.10.2015, were signed with these candidates.

The residential training for the candidates will be conducted in three educational modules – public order and peace, traffic, and border affairs. Each module lasts four months, with three months of theoretical training followed by one month of practical, field training. Upon completion of the basic training, 600 candidates will sign employment contracts with the Ministry of Internal Affairs according to the ranking list prepared by the Training Center.
