In the period from 13 to 16 September 2015, practical tests for measuring competencies from the second part are being conducted in police stations of general jurisdiction across all Sectors for Internal Affairs for candidates of the Basic Police Training 2015/16 – Protection of Public Order and Peace.
The test is practical and takes place on the job in a real situation, where candidates carry out field training with their mentors. Each candidate goes out in the field with an evaluator where they must demonstrate certain competencies listed in the evaluation form. At the end, the evaluator provides feedback on how the candidate performed during the test and records the grade.
This competency measurement test is only one of five segments that candidates must pass to successfully complete one of the three modules of the police training.
The evaluation of the practical test is independent and is conducted by experienced police officers who professionally perform tasks related to Public Order and Peace and who have previously been trained in evaluation at the Training Center.
