Today (October 14, 2026), police officers from the Negotino Police Station and the Čaška Police Department in Negotino, Demir Kapija, and the Čaška municipality area conducted preventive activities aimed at preventing occurrences related to domestic and gender-based violence. Through direct communication, citizens were informed about their rights and protective measures in cases of domestic violence, as well as the availability of services for assistance, protection, and temporary shelter, emphasizing the importance of timely reporting of all forms of violence.
Police officers from the Negotino and Delčevo Police Stations carried out preventive activities titled "Manage Your Vehicle Technically Correct," highlighting the obligation for regular maintenance and technical soundness of vehicles as a key prerequisite for safe participation in traffic. In the central urban areas of Štip and Berovo, preventive activities titled "Do Not Use Your Mobile While Driving a Passenger Vehicle" were conducted, where drivers were informed about the consequences that may arise from using a mobile phone while driving, as well as the penalties for such offenses.
In the areas of the Center Police Station and Bit Pazar Police Station, the Prevention Department of the Skopje Police Department carried out a preventive activity aimed at protecting against telephone fraud. The preventive activity was directed towards informing and educating older citizens, who are the most common victims of such fraud. Through direct communication and the distribution of educational materials, the ways to protect oneself from such criminal acts were clarified, as well as the need for timely reporting to the numbers 112 or 192.
