Today (September 11, 2026) in Tetovo, Veles, Negotino, and Chashka, police officers from the Prevention Department of the Tetovo Police Department, Veles Police Department, and Chashka Police Station conducted preventive activities aimed at protecting against property crimes. Through direct communication, they advised citizens on how to safeguard themselves from various forms of theft and fraud, protect their homes, and be vigilant with their personal belongings. As part of these activities, printed educational materials were also distributed.
Police officers from the Prevention Department of the Skopje Police Department and Veles Police Department, in the area of the Karposh Police Station, as well as in the municipalities of Chashka and Gradsko, carried out preventive activities for fire protection, emphasizing to citizens the need for cooperation with institutions and timely reporting of any instances of irresponsible behavior, such as littering and burning trash, as well as open fires, especially in close proximity to forested areas, to ensure a prompt and effective response from all institutions.
Police officers from the Veles Police Department, Kavadarci Police Station, Delchevo Police Station, and East Regional Center for Public Safety, in Veles, Kavadarci, and Delchevo, conducted traffic preventive activities aimed at increasing safety on the roads, highlighting the importance of regular maintenance of vehicle technical compliance, the dangers of using a mobile phone while driving, and the necessity of adhering to all traffic rules.
Yesterday (September 10, 2026), police officers from the Prevention Department of the Bitola Police Department conducted educational lectures for students at the Secondary School "Taki Daskalo" in Bitola on the topics of "Prevention of Addictions" and "Preventing Peer Violence," aiming to inform students about the consequences of various forms of addiction such as drugs, alcohol, and cigarettes, as well as ways to prevent peer violence. Police officers from the Ropotovo Police Station carried out a preventive activity on the topic "Safety in Traffic" at the primary school "Ismail Qamili" in the village of Crnilishte. Today, in Štip, the Prevention Department of the Štip Police Department conducted educational activities under the motto "Don't be a silent witness" and "There is help for a life without violence." During meetings with citizens, advice was given on protection from violence, as well as guidance on what they can do if they find themselves in a situation where they witness a certain type of violence.
Citizens were also informed about their rights and protective measures in cases of gender-based violence. The necessity of cooperation and timely communication with the police was particularly emphasized.
