Today (December 15, 2025), the Prevention Unit of the Regional Police Department of Veles, along with police officers from the Traffic Safety Police Station in Veles and the Traffic Safety Police Station in Kochani, conducted preventive activities in the areas of Veles and Kochani focused on traffic safety, emphasizing the use of winter equipment and the importance of not operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol. The police officers engaged directly with drivers, highlighting the necessity of adhering to traffic rules and regulations for their own safety and that of all other road users. It was emphasized that during the winter season, road conditions require maximum caution, making the use of winter equipment particularly important. Additionally, drivers were provided with printed educational materials created by the National Council for Road Traffic Safety.

Police officers from the Regional Center for Border Affairs East and the Regional Police Department of Stip, in collaboration with a doctor from the Public Health Institution "Goce Delchev" in Delcevo and volunteers from the Red Cross, conducted lectures at the Secondary School "Metodija Mitevski-Brico," the Primary School "Vanco Prke" in Delcevo, the Primary School "Rade Kratovche" in Kochani, and the Primary School "Cyril and Methodius" in Sveti Nikole on the topic: "Do Not Use Pyrotechnic Materials," aiming to inform students and raise awareness about the dangers of using these materials, which can cause harmful health effects and material damage. Students were also made aware of the legal sanctions for the illegal sale and use of pyrotechnic materials.
