Yesterday (October 3, 2026), police officers from the Prevention Unit of the Police Department of Kumanovo and the Municipal Council for Prevention in Kumanovo conducted a traffic preventive activity aimed at raising citizens' awareness and the level of traffic culture, with a particular emphasis on the awareness among drivers not to operate vehicles under the influence of alcohol, considering that alcohol severely impairs driving skills, disrupts psychomotor abilities, and poses a serious threat to their safety and that of other road users.
As part of the activity, special glasses were used, allowing citizens to experience the diminished ability to operate a vehicle when under the influence of alcohol.
