Throughout the day yesterday (October 23, 2025), as a result of regular traffic checks conducted by police officers from all sectors of internal affairs on the roads across the country, out of a total of 1,065 issued payment orders, 716 violations pertained to drivers who did not adhere to the prescribed speed limits.
Furthermore, according to the statistical overview of police activities, 50 violations for improper parking were recorded, 82 measures were imposed on drivers operating vehicles without a driver's license, 14 sanctions for novice drivers, and 16 sanctions for driving under the influence of alcohol.
On the other hand, in accordance with the provisions of the Road Traffic Safety Act, eight motorcyclists were sanctioned for not wearing helmets, and two pedestrians were also penalized. Additionally, 44 traffic participants were sanctioned for not using seat belts. In accordance with the Vehicle Act, 23 vehicles were removed from traffic for being unregistered, and one vehicle for technical malfunction. One driver was also sanctioned for failing to meet the prescribed conditions regarding the tinting of vehicle windows (films).
