Today (14.03.2026), the Prevention Department of the Skopje Police Department, in cooperation with the Republic Council for Road Traffic Safety, carried out a traffic-preventive activity in the area of the Saraj Police Station jurisdiction, at the Glumovo toll station, under the slogans “Do not use a mobile phone while driving a motor vehicle” and “Wear a seat belt.”
As part of the activity, police officers distributed educational leaflets to drivers, prepared in cooperation with the Republic Council for Road Traffic Safety, containing messages promoting responsible driving and respect for the applicable legal regulations.
Special emphasis was placed on the mandatory use of seat belts while driving a motor vehicle, as well as on not using a mobile phone while driving.
Also, by random selection, some drivers were given additional educational material in the form of leaflets with recommendations aimed at raising traffic culture and safety awareness among road users.
