Today (01.08.2026), police officers from the Tetovo Police Department conducted searches at multiple locations in connection with the posted video on social media of the shooting at a family celebration in Dobridol, Gostivar, resulting in the detention of six individuals, while one person was called in for an official conversation. During the searches, weapons and ammunition were discovered and seized.
At 6:00 PM, a search was conducted at the residence of I.S. (21) from the village of Dobridol, and at 6:05 PM, at A.I. (30) from Dobridol, where a gas pistol was found and seized. Simultaneously, a search was also conducted at I.B. (25) from Dobridol.
At 6:15 PM, a search was carried out at the home of B.A. in Dobridol, where 30 cartridges for a gas pistol were found, while in the yard, 27 spent casings from a gas pistol and one cartridge for hunting weapon were discovered. B.A. (46) and his son M.A. (21) from Dobridol have been deprived of their freedom. Subsequently, at 6:25 PM, a search was conducted at T.M. (26) from Dobridol, where a pistol with eight cartridges, a hunting rifle with seven cartridges, and a gas pistol were found and seized, after which he was deprived of his freedom, and S.M. was called in for an official conversation.
All individuals have been taken to the police station for further proceedings, and after the cases are fully documented, appropriate reports will be filed against them.
